What Babita would have needed to understand is that unlike in romantic relationships, for a child it doesn't have to be either/or. I doubt thd pH leaves her time to explore this, but it would have been an important message....

She's missing out on so much good stuff. You're right, what else can he do? He knows she doesn't want him as a father and she made it explicitly clear to him the other day. She actually shut the door. Since she's an adult she doesn't legally need a father per se, but emotionally she seems not to recognize this need. As far as she's concerned, everyone in her life is somehow connected to her because of Babes, i.e. even her relation with HS is because of Babes. If she were a little girl, he'd have more time with her and a chance to have a real impact but Minnie is headstrong and she shuts her emotions out. If nothing else then during the GP it was pretty clear that even though she can't express it, she has a connection to him that she can't break, and it doesn't have to do with Babes 100% either. He has changed her life in a major way and she knows it, but is putting it in the ehsaan bucket, rather than love.

If she and Babes grow apart she will never even turn to look back at him, even if his arms and heart will always be open to her. She will say one final thank you to him for all he has done for her, and walk, rather fly away. We know very well how he feels about thank yous of that sort.

I agree with Reka. The letter didn't make it seem like they were trying to whitewash him. Rather, he is acknowledging all the mistakes he made and is trying to make up for them in whatever way he can. He doesn't expect Babita to forgive him or invite him back into her life and thus hasn't asked for it. He paid back whatever she gave him in ways that are simple, i.e., monetary.

That being said, he is right that no matter how much Babita denies it, Minnie is his child. If not emotionally at the moment, then definitely by blood. If he wants to reconcile with her, have some sort of relationship with her, then he has every right to want it. Whether or not Minnie wants it in return is a different matter.

HS will obviously support Minnie in whichever decision she makes. Besides, hadn't he brought up the hypothetical situation of, if Ashok ever tried to reach out to her, will she listen? At the time she had dismissed, but it's not hypothetical anymore. It's very real and she will have to decide one way or another.

However she gets it, Minnie needs closure. Whether she chooses to keep Ashok forever in her life as her permanent dad, or at a distance and think of him from time to time, she needs the opportunity to get there.

I don't know what to think anymore. Just the fact that Hanita needed to exit and that they are bringing Ashok back just seems so out of place to me. Also, I translated in English so I might not have gotten the tone right, but if you read it in Hindi, the tone with which Ashok writes it and calls HS aap with izzat and all just seems so contrived, esp after what we have known of Ashok so far. 🤔

Thik hai I understand she needs closure. Its sad to think after all that HS did for her, she still seeks Ashok as a father. I guess khoon khoon hota hai at the end of the day 🤔. Whatever!!!

HS deserves to have his own child. Let Hanita have their own child and relocate them off to another country. I will be happy knowing Hanita and their baby are living somewhere happily.
