Hanuman Singh is a gem.

All Gul MLs are like that only..MCP

I'm still mighty impressed by his words in Episode 51. Usually men are given lines wherein they try to defend themselves or something like "Not all men...". But here, HS spoke the stark truth. All men have beasts inside them but good men know how to keep a leash on it by actively making the right choices.

Aahh! I can't wait till we get to this episode!

Exactly! What powerful lines and honest depiction. I was just floored and super impressed in that episode, and then later when he goes to coach Minnie, knowing that Babita is listening in...

Oh yeah, tell me about it. Totally agree with your points!

I don't even bother most of the time.

Worst part is we are supposed to think that kidnapping a small kid to save reputation is okay and forced marriages are romantic. Also after forced marriage instead of filing a police report our strong female lead wants to respect pavitra rishta of saat Janam. Seriously? If I were there I would have thrown the script on writers face. Those things are nonbailable crime in India, how can they normalize crimes against women and promote it as romance? How irresponsible!!

Oh boy. The reason I started watching PB was because this serial was mentioned into discussion on feminism. I watched few episodes and HS was hitting all notes perfectly. Such a rare thing to see on ITV. Too bad we didn't get to see much of that since wedding crap.

I still have difficulties wrapping my head around what Ashok said to Babita. I know it's horrible, but the extent sort of escapes me.

HS was just something different. He wasn't a feminist for the heck of it, to show off of entice someone. He truly was one. He lived and breathed it and led by example.

AAAAHHH!!! I'm falling in love with him all over again!! 😭😭😭

And thank God for that. We have had enough of those wolves disguised as a sheep. Apna HS is a tiger(or lion). A Real MAN. Let him be an example of how male lead should be.

I don't know I stopped watching after that hideous wedding. I couldn't stand those characters after that malarkey.

YES!!

And what a way to empower the women too! Not once did he try to put the spotlight on himself. He kept it all on them and essentially told them that the choice and power is yours. XYZ happened, but how are YOU going to react to it? What will YOUR response be?

Man, Babita the next morning just floored me with the strength she displayed. It was nothing overt or in your face. It was all quiet and solid but still so electric! And the words she imparted onto Minnie about women being more than their body parts? It ALWAYS stays with me. It's truly one of the best lines that I have ever heard from ITV.

Those episodes gave me the hope that ITV is finally coming out from clutches of ekta Kapoor and alas! They ruined it...
