There have been fantastic South Indian actresses who have done some excellent work in Hindi Cinema, for instance Vaijayantimala and Waheeda Rehman , Sridevi is not one of such south actresses, irrespective of what some fans might think. A lot can be said about her 'acting' too, but I will refrain for time being.

Madhuri Dixit is perhaps the only actor in the history of bollywood who had the knack of pulling off something vulgar without making it appear vulgar. Sometimes actor and actrresses have to do such things but usually it is the actresses that get pilloried for it while actors get away scottfree.
