"My character was not villainous. In fact, he's quite cute and comic. He is very popular with the audience. It may seem fun to play Ranvir Nanda but trust me, it's very difficult."

"I took up this show because my friend Karan Patel is hosting it. The production team is fantastic. Winning or losing is not important, the right spirit is. My friends Suraj Thapar and Bunty Grewal are escorting me in the show. I hope that they know me well enough for us to win the game."

On being termed 'brash'
"I am glad that people are taking me seriously after the Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa controversy (where he had arguments with the judges). Earlier people only knew me as Ansh or Eklavya in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi but after Jhalak, they know me by my name. If they feel I am good for a reality show, being blunt and brash, I am happy. That's how I am. I am open to all kinds of reality shows because it's good money."

On being Balaji's blue-eyed boy
"I want to be the blue-eyed boy of every production house not alone Balaji. But yes, it has given me a good platform and it's been like family working with them. So I have no qualms of being called that."

On finding love
"I am not single. But I am not ready to divulge details about my girlfriend. When I feel the need to do so, I will call up everyone and inform them. Right now, suffice to know that she is not from the industry."
