Mrunal should win. It’ll be a shame if she doesn’t win... I can totally see them saying Mrunal did Love Sonia (2018) and this isn’t her debut just to give it to Ananya or Tara.

Not true at all. In the last 8 years, only ONE "star kid" won, and that was Sara Ali Khan this year. Alia didn't win in 2012. Kriti, Bhumi, Vaani etc are not star kids.

For 2019 the best debut performance so far for me was Sharmin Segal for Malaal.

Mrunal Thakur already had her debut in 2018 - she is not eligible for this award.

When the SOTY2 trailer dropped, we all thought Tara would give the better performance but for those who've seen the film will know that Ananya was the standout star of the film.

Pranutan was really good in Notebook, she should get a nomination.

Ankita was brilliant in Manikarnika - but she's been acting and winning awards in Television for over 10 years - I don't know how the award shows are going to judge her.

Forumwasi ko Nepo bimari hogayi hai, Nepo ki alawa kuch nahi dikhta, Suhana Khan ka audition judge kar rahe hai woh bhi audition dekhe bina

I saw Mrunal performance she is ok may be better than Ananya but screen presence, star value do matters in popularity awards like Filmfare

Mrunal presence is so ordinary

That’s wrong. Alia did receive multiple female debut awards in 2012.

Sonakshi, Parineeti, Sonam,Alia everyone recieved debut awards . The bacchas who missed are those whose movies tanked at box office.

name those multiple debut awards Alia won, because afaik I remember, every popular award shows like Filmfare, Stardust, Starguilt, IIFA, Zee and so on awarded either Yami Gautam or Ileana D'Cruz that year.

Also in 2008, most best debut actress award went to Deepika, not Sonam. The only award which she win was that faltu Stardust newcomer or something award.
