Noticed that. But apparently it seems he has a different equation with Aarti vis-a-vis Sana. He knows Aarti from outside and if some tabloid reports are to be believed then they had a fling together. Aarti has a real crush on him and has a soft corner for him. He thinks she is mature enough to take her own stands.

On the other hand, Sid treats Sana as a kid. He finds her too cute and funny, and is also protective of her like a big brother.

I think he did right thing by telling off aarti... It was absolutely stupid of her to sit and cry... Y bcoz no wants to sleep with her... Like really... Its not like u can't sleep etc... Just tell those loosers off and take the single bed and sleep aaram se. If he hasn't told her off the bahu gang wud have again made joke abt her plus though hurt she wud come out looking like a fool... At same time I think she has crush on sid and wants him to care, and he's keeping his distance bcoz he's not interested whereas with sana it's clearly platonic so he's more chilled out with her
