Kairav first scolding - Page 2

there are a couple of things that are a bit out of sync:

1. Kartik pretending he didn't marry someone else! And yeah --- I suppose the awkwardness is inevitable ... for KAIRA... BUT I feel Shivani playing all demurely awkward is so not her... the girl who used to take the bull by the horns!

2. Kairav is acting like a spoilt brat -- I agree... and somehow all the "baby" stuff is getting a bit over the top for me. :) I can understand that a 5 year old is probably confused --- parental fights, newness to families.. so doesn't feel he can talk to anyone but Vansh... etc. But that doesn't mean he should be "spoilt" further or "bribed" with gifts.

3. Do they need a cloak and dagger drama to get Vedika out? I mean she's running and I thought --- the storyline seems like a "filler" and so out of place :)... can't she just say I cant accept having your ex and your son - so I should leave... or whatever. And why plan on getting Naira to be the savior --- if spoilers are to be believed!

Now what they do with KAIRA ... I shudder to think... I want the old chemistry back, but after sooo much butchering pats nahin ki Kay bacha hai.

I find the posts more entertaining than the show. So far I see my thoughts reflected in the posts and I don't have the incentive anymore to write long posts about the episode. Meanwhile I have watched 120 original season episodes and feel content in that.

Things that have bothered me about the current track.1) Karthik and Naira don't behave as a couple that has been divorced twice. For a divorced couple they seem to spend all their time together. It is not necessary to spend all the holidays together. Karthik has no recollection that he is married to Vedika and that irks me. With Kairav he has become very childish too. I don't seem him as a grown responsible father. Buying lots of toys for your kid and spoiling him is not proper parenting. Parenting is not all fun. I think it was inappropriate of him to lash out on Kairav like that. As a father he has no self-control when it comes to his anger.

2) As far as Naira is concerned the less said the better. I find her to live in a fantasy world and she has very poor decision making skills. I wish she would stop calling a 5 year old baby. I want her to move forward in her life where she focuses on her own future away from Karthik and being successful to provide for her son.

I feel the show is stuck because they don't want to show an aged Karthik and Naira as the kid gets older. There is no other storyline in the show so there is only so much they can show as far as moving forward. What a waste of money this whole custody battle was and Damini must be regretting having ever met Karthik and Naira.

I personally wish the Goenka's would financially cut Karthik off so that he is forced to work and become more responsible instead of chasing Kairav and Naira all the time.

I have given up as far as having any expectations from the show. No charm in celebrating Dusshera in the show. The idea of Karthik and Kairav's birthday is of no interest to me. The show seems to focus on quantity of episodes vs quality of them. Wonder what happens to the trp of the show.

Truly i can relate more with the posts here than the show. Wanted to start a topic but couldn’t decide the title:

1. Yrkkh is doomed.

2. Kaira’s child is as impulsive, short tempered, judgemental, fickle minded like them , plus he doesn’t even looks cool doing all that like his parents .

3. Awful styling of Kartik and Naira.

4. Kartik’s one more birthday going to be spoiled badly by his own son :(

They have surely handed over the pen to 10 year olds, there is no consistency and no sense whatsoever in any of the scenes. Kartik admiring Naira as a teenager, and then talking to himself about feeling sorry. Instead it would have been better if he talked about all this with Naira frankly instead of flirting and behaving like a pervert. Like common you yourself called her you ex-wife trillion times now without any clear discussions either with her or your so called wife you are jumping off to flirt with ex-wife.

Makers feel viewers are missing kaira’s romance, no we rnt missing their romance, we are missing chemistry, bonding and most of all the consistency and meaning in the show.

Kairav’s behavior and his expressions are huge turn off , vaise bhi i was not able to connect with him as Kaira’s child, scenes always felt so forced. But i was trying to bear as kairav was important for the story. But now he has become so unbearable that i want like skipping all kairav scenes, i even did twice in last episode. Bachche ko rahne do yar, let him look cute and love his parents. Kartik, naira and vedika se karvao yar ab jo krna hai, that what important right now.

Ab styling ka kya hi bolu, what they make kartik wear is beyond my imagination. Denims , shirt and waist coat, i mean what are you smoking. Plus the patterns and textures in his jackets ufff. He looks so fat and uncle types. Let them age beautifully ya 🙏 , vo khud bhi haste honge ki kya kya karva rahe humse or kya kya pehna rahe 😅

I like Kartik’s styling or maybe I am jut biased towards Mohsin 🤣. Shivangi has lovely hair, idk why a separation means fringes. Naira can be shown wearing stylish western outfits, why those long frocks. Still better than how she used to dress in Goa.

As for the story:

1) Kairav sudden hates seems stupid. You can hold a grudge against your parents but you don’t start hating them out of nowhere. He’s stopped talking to Kartik, won’t even let him greet him, showed zero excitement about the shared birthdays. He’s 5! 5 year olds are excited for their birthdays esp if their parents are going over board with the celebrations. They don’t sit and make plans, and say we only want to celebrate with one parent.

I feel bad for Kartik. He’s probably celebrating his birthday after 5 years as well. It’s his first bday with his kid and the kid is being a brat. He would probably be told that he’s the worst dad on his birthday and that his kid hates him.

2) Most might disagree but I am not liking Shivangi’s acting nowadays in her scenes with Mohsin. Idk if Naira is meant to be cute when she’s joking with Kartik or she needs to be awkward around him. Whatever it is, it seems really weird.

To be specific: When Kartik thanked her during dushera, and her reaction was “oh ho” and then she asked Kartik to help her with the statue, the tone is just annoying.

3) I like that Kartik and Naira are taking it slow this time around, but at the same time, the lack of intensity or feelings especially from Naira’s side is unlike them.
Both seem to have accepted the marriage and are cordial with each other, but where’s the so-called love gone?

I am looking forward to the birthday. Not the cringy scenes in which Kaira act as kids to make their spoilt son laugh, but actual drama. Curious about everyone’s reaction to Kairav’s feelings towards Kartik. I know it’s gonna be extremely sad for Kartik and as usual his birthday would be spoilt, but it’s a show. It needs drama to thrive. Just hope the kid is not made to act like a 50 year old who wishes his father had never returned from the secret mission or that his mother gets him a new father.

Exactly! It may sound like bashing to a few but there is a lot of love and expectations behind it...those who don't bother wont watch it only and comment .

Anyhow, the initial episodes were memorable and had great rewatch value.. there was a lot of innocence , the script was crisp ...it was the same when kaira came after the leap..obviously with so many episodes and dragging story , it starts losing the plot n essence ..but nobody can do anything as yr is still in top 3...they should go for seasons , otherwise kaira will lose freshness...after watching many other serials , ye rishta is still better in terms of story telling , acting etc ..

At least they should not show multiple times divorce and union...I am not watching it that much to comment on the current track..
