I don't understand why people think she is like Geet. They are nothing alike. She is more like Pooja of kabhi khushi kabhi gham.

The fundamental difference between Kareena and Geet is that Geet is a social butterfly and very talkative. Kareena is actually a quiet person and reserved. This is what Saif shares recently that he’s the more talkative one between the two and Kareena is generally quiet. And same with Sharmila.

But Kareena is witty, spunky and has a good sense of humor, so maybe that’s where she’s similar

She used to be brash and arrogant earlier when she was 20. But even then she was never known as overly talkative, she must made tone deaf statements, lol.

But all her costars say the same thing about her; that she's generally reserved and shy and opens up to people slowly. But once she does, she's apparently hilarious.

Geet was a movie character with prince charming taking her away in end. Real world is different. Foolish girls like geet end up in misery as i have seen in real life. Such things are glorified in movies but real world is not kind.

Kareena comes from a good background. She was a insider from the very start. It was easy for her to make her way to top. Middle class girls can't be compared with someone like kareena.

Foolish girls like Get always get in trouble, and since in real life they don't have prince charming to rescue them,they end up in a mess.

Just imagine ,what would have happened to any common girl if they got down from a train at a railway station in the middle of the night and missed the train subsequently. I am sure they would not have the same fate as Geet in Jab we met

My two cents about Geet. She is one of my favorite characters in Bollywood.

Geet in the first half is a representation of our inner child, the imaginative, idealistic, fun loving, rosy, cosy, sunny, positive part of us. She is a celebration of life...she wants to live life to the fullest. Geet in the second half is a representation of the realities. Life is hard. It's messy. The world hurt her so she retracts.

But you also see how the first half Geet inspires Shahid's character to let go of his harsh realities, to see his life and its people with a fresh new perspective, start believing in his dreams, chill out and actually become quite successful. So is Geet really stupid as some of you are making it out to be? I don't think she is. Sometimes even if reality is harsh, in order to get through the tough world, one has to still learn to find joy in this life. And you never know you may get lucky :-) Geet teaches us that. It would be foolish of us to write her off as frivolous.

Yes you are not, as Geet was actually a good human being.

Love her so much. She is very honest. She is one of the few actress that lasted in the industry with her hard work for so long and she is one of the few actress that never did B-grade or C-grade movies.

She has the "KAPOOR" connection, no wonder she lasted in the industry for so long 🤣
