I really hope she gets it actually. It will be a great thing for India, but it will be tough. This could be a mastermove from Marvel, the entirety of Kamala Khan is for sjw appeasement. That appeasement gets you good critic reviews, but it doesnt get you money.

White people don't care about struggles of Muslim teenagers. if they try to pass "hijab" as symbol of empowerment, they will be f***** by the attack of right wing, who will finally win a battle against marvel. If they try to label "hijab" as a mean of oppression, majority Muslim countries are going to ban it. If they try to make Islam relevant in her life, alot of people are going to be turned off by it. Right wing will definitely attack it.

China doesn't give a f*** this movie/series will definitely flop there.

So basically, it has to be brown girl in America story, and for that thing, they are better off taking someone from India to appease both American-Indians and American-pakistanis, and even get support in India.

You know who I want tho? Alia Bhatt. She has the baby face so she can pass it off and she was amazing in gully boy. Would ace this and be a home run for both the parties.

Well they had an American playing a Russian superhero (Black Widow), so its not the nationality that matters. Its important that whoever plays the part must look the part, so any South Asian actress will do.

Although I don't think they should make a Miss Marvel series or movie, her character doesn't seem that fascinating enough or worth it...she seems more like a secondary character. There are many many more South Asian Marvel characters they could bring into the MCU...Kamala Khan is just overrated imo...
