Maan kehkar chala jaata hai

M-Fine. Bahar rakha hai kitchen mein khana. Khana ho to kha lena

Maan kehkar leaves Geet alone to wallow in her misery and corrode in her toxic love

Maan as usual uthta hai

Ready hokar bahar aata hai toh dekhta hai Geet chup chap kitchen mein breakfast bana rahi hai

Maan kehkar chala gaya office his mood appropriately glum

Geet feels she isn’t angry at Maan but she is hurt…really hurt

First time she actually shared what she felt for Akhil and she expected him to understand

She counted on him and he didn’t and ulta uspe hi chillaya, usse samjha nahi

She never expected this from Maan

She expected him to stand by her, just be with her…like he always does…like she has started counting on him at everything

Maan hota hai office mein

Poore din chup chap kaam karta hai

Aas paas ke log pochte hain ki kya hua

Maan ne kaha kuch nahi…wo bas thodi tabiyat kharab thi…mausam galat chall raha hai

Maan sham ko ghar pohonchta hai toh Geet darwaza kholti hai

Geet isn’t complaining types ki maine expect kiya tumne nahi kiya; as if uske expectation meet hote hai harr baar

So Geet bhi usko lekar zyada issue nahi karti hai

She is like kya farak padta hai, as if its new to me

Par agar kuch farak na pad raha hota toh Geet would have welcomed him back with a smile

But smile andar se nahi aayi bhi toh koi nahi, she can still smile. She thinks

Maan andar aaya

He holds out a bouquet of lilies for her

Its nothing extravagant but simple and sweet with all colors of lilies in the bunch

Geet ne bhi aaj tshirt and pajama ki jagah, salwar kameez pehen rakha hai (looking a little biwi types)

She looks at the lilies and a grin comes over on the corner of her lips

G-Faltu mein paise kharch karna band karo

She keeps the flowers in the vase

M- I shouldn’t have said some things I said last night. I am sorry

She looks at him and gives a deep sigh

G-Hmm, I am sorry too

M-So are we cool? You aren’t angry with me anymore?

Maan gives Geet a little of his puppy face look

She shakes her head

Geet looks at the lilies then at Maan and smiles

G-Thanks. Aise kitni ladkiyon ke saath kiya hai?

Geet haste hue kitchen mein chali gai

He follows her

M-Lilies toh sirf tumhe hi diye hain

G-ohh..baakiyon ko roses diye hain?

M-hmmm bakiyon ko toh main jungli wale ukhad kar de deta hoon. Bol deta hoon ki exotic species hain

G-Chii...khd bhi jungli ho

Maan smiles broadly at her

M- Toh aaj ka kya plan hai?

G-Kuch nahi. Kal ka plan hai picnic. Kal weekend chutti hai naa

He nods

M-Kahan jaa rahe hain hum?

G-The woods near the lake?

M- You in woods? Kaafi daring ho gai ho...

He says in a teasing voice

G-Jungli ke saath reh rehke...junglon se kya darna

M-Aye haye meri jungli sherni !

Maan wink sat her

G-Aye hye Mr Flirt

Dono ne khana khaya saath mein TV dekhte hue

Aur poore ek din ke baas Maan aur Geet ek kamre mein phir soye

Bechari Geet ko kal neend bhi nai aayi thi naa hi Maan ko aayi thi, ye soch ke ki Geet ko akele neend nahi aa rahi hogi

Next day jaldi se picnic basket mein saamaan thus lete hain

Geet picks a nice knee length dress to wear and lets her hair down too

Geet bike pe one side legs karke baithi thi aur beech mein saaman bhi tha toh Maan ko aur ache se jakad ke pakad liya

As Maan bike chala raha hai, Geet ke baal hawa ke saath udh rahe hain

Woh pohoche lake ke paas, raste bhar chilla chilla kar baatien karte hue bike aur hawa ki awaazon ke beech mein

Geet ne mat lagaya, saaman rakha

Sab kuch karne ke baad realize kiya ki Maan kahan gaya

Maan ne Geet ko surprise diya in form of a jhoola he made for her

M-Baitho. I’ll give you a push

Jhoola bandha tha branch se, jo lake ke upar thi zara paani ke upar. So when Geet would sit on the jhoola her feet would get the tingling sensation of the cool and soothing lake water

Geet ne zara dress upar kari, cautiously darr darr ke walking towards it

M-C'mon don't worry. You'll be fine

Maan tugs the rope to how her its safe
