Madhubala is a traditional beauty and Aishwarya is a modern beauty.

But Madhubala is quite a good and natural actor than Aishwarya.

Some people here talk about Madhubala disrespectfully but if anyone criticizes sridevi, madhuri, Vidya balan or even konkona sensharma the people will come running to defend them and put them on pedestal.

Meena Kumari and Madhubala are the only two actresses who define Indian beauty. They were not slim and trim nor had a good height nor looked like models but had such innocent features that are attractive and hence they are considered beautiful. Both acted in B&W movies as well as color so it's not true that they looked beautiful only in the former one nor does my opinion lie on the fact that they were of the olden era cinema but it's a fact that compared to the actresses of today and even the 90s, they were even more pretty and gorgeous. Aishwaria acted in Umrao jaan but lacked the Indian beauty and grace and looked skinny instead. Even Rekha had her own charm and could carry of the costumes while Aiswaria couldn't. Similarly there are times when Aishwaria looks better while the former actresses don't.

Anyone is free to have an opinion of their own rather than be forced or mocked if their opinion differs.
