I think men and women should be able to equally prioritize their careers if they want to. One shouldn't suffer for the other.

i feel work should be shared earning money and working at home too.

yes initially for a few years if there is no one else at home one of the parents may need to be with their children. but babita has no issues like that so she can work.

Yeah, also HS was shown drying dishes so I don't think he has issues helping her with house work. He knows she gets tired.

See that's what I am saying.. we work because we need to or we love our jobs.. but what if it's neither? What if you don't need the job per se or you don't feel your heart is in it? Shouldn't you be allowed to take a break?

I fully agree it has more cons.. i agree it would not be a practical idea.. what I am trying to say is that Babita should be given the chance to think about it.. without any bhashans or guidance.. let us see what she has planned or what she wants.. that's what i want to see..

But in the precape HS, although telling Babita off. But I think that Chachiji will tell him off but getting angry on Babita, but also said that if it was a struggle she should have told him and he would have taken time off.

I think that they are thrown off course by the sudden visit by his Chachiji as it was not planned, hence them struggling.

There would be no emotional reason.. Babita's situation was different.. she was vulnerable and emotionally crippled at the time

If Babita didn't want HS to leave his work then that's fine considering he's a police officer. His job is more critical and important in that sense since people's lives are at stake. Moreover, Babita has the option of working from home and if needed, she can pop on over to the store within two minutes. But agar usse koi interest hi nahi hai, woh alag baat hai.

I agree about the police officer thing, but Babita sounded like she applied that logic to all men and their professions, not the critical ones.
