I have loved all the moments when HS-Mickey have interacted especially related to Babita-Mini. HS not just being the strict father, but even his switch to being flustered each time Mickey asks about Babita and not being able to define that relationship.

Remember when NB had come to HS regarding MiMi and HS had that talk with him? Tere dad farmer hai, lagta toh nahi, Hoshiyarpur ke Hoshiyar. 🤣

I don't think this protective attitude would be seen with Mickey. He's been accepted into HS' family by extention. HS actually trusts this kid. Of course, if MiMi end up dating, that'll be a different matter, more so because of Preet.

Imagine him finding out about Bobby's feelings. 🤣 Though, Bobby would get so scared I don't think it'll be as funny as HS intimidating someone like Mickey.

I don't think HS would take Bobby so seriously. Besides, they don't even show him anymore these days.

As for Mickey, well HS trusts him, but he still gave him a message the other day that he was watching him. 😆

Khatri getting beat up by HS is long overdue but woh har baar chhod deta hai. Cuz well, writers want to leave scope open for Babita to invite Khatris home to taunt na 🙄🤷‍♀️

This reminds me, I wanted to ask what you guys thought about the chowkidaar remark by Mickey. Why was it made? I truly thought he respects HS too much to say something like that.

It also felt weird that all Mini did to rebuke him was give him a look. Was that Mickey's frustration as Mini's friend about what she was going through? Was that blatant disrespect?

I noticed that too and Minnie was not quick to defend HS as she may have in the past and Mickey is aware of the change in the HS-Minnie relationship so he probably doesn't idolize HS the same way. They both kinda lost trust in HS after the CD fiasco, and I daresay a Mickey lost some of the awe he had for HS.

I think it was also because HS was up late at night looking into what they were doing, but yeah I found it disrespectful. Mickey wouldn't have spoken like that about HS in the past, at least not to Minnie. This was the same guy who was scared of HS during the hug scene.

I don't think she'd ever stop worrying about Babes, but rather than as a mother she would worry about her as a child. Also, over time Minnie would/should learn to think about her own needs too.

This. You’ve summed it up perfectly. It’s a way of life for her.

Obviously Mini needs to grow and live her own life too. But I can’t fathom a Mini who can ever stop herself from loving her mom this much and worrying for her. It’s too deeply ingrained in her nature. Kuch Log hote hain aise.

I found it to be pretty crass for him to be saying that to HS ka face.

As for the chowkidaar comment, I guess he said it off hand to comment about how Mini has a protector in HS. But Mickey has gotten too familiar with HS off late and basic respect waali line is blurred. He treats HS more like a buddy than respecting him as an elder 🙄

But I honestly didn’t think they became THAT good friends also that Mickey takes so many liberties. They’ve barely interacted since the hug from the Poonam incident....this is another relationship that had lacked continuity in terms of development.

Indeed Mickey has become too familiar, but he has always been crass in some way or the other. You only need to see older episodes to remember that. Sure, he has been friendzoned by Minnie but some of his basic traits remain.

I don't think they are that close either. Just because HS hugged him doesn't mean Mickey can cross those lines.

The thing that makes me sad is both HS and Minnie are behaving as though all the blurring and misunderstandings were about their one and only shot at bonding. That's not true at all. If they both really care about each other and want to be in each other's lives permanently then they can learn some lessons and keep working on their bond. It's not over or a finality but they both sound defeated. So sad.

NO ONE understands Minnie like HS does.

I find it laughable when Mini says Mickey is her soulmate. If anyone has seen her soul it's HS. Sadly she has no idea how much HS knows her.

Well, I will chose a selfish Mini over Mahan Mini anyday. I love a screeming/shouting Mini and not 'smiling while crying' Mini. I wish she stops hiding her tears behind smile. Sometimes being less mature will do good for her.

She needs to act like a kid and throw tantrums for her own self, not always on behalf of others.
