Yeah he said it just to behlaao her back then but baat toh sach hi hai.....and what a parallel now for Mini to repeat kinda the same thing back to him...."Strictly between you and me, bas".

This was a very sweet scene overall waise in HS-Babita trying to co-parent but Mini being the smart kid that she is could see through their attempt to behlaao her.

I wish they could all find their way back to this dynamic....kitna sweet tha.

Which episode did this happen.

I wish hs had told off babita like this when she was questioning his love for mini.

He was being all affable on the surface but there was a colder edge rippling under the surface and a warning in his eyes telling Mickey to be careful with what he was saying and doing....

I actually wanted to see more exploration of HS going protective Dad about Mini if a guy tries to pursue her. I guess that time hasn’t come with MM yet....lol

What was fascinating about that scene was the way Anirudh played the switch between affable and a colder, almost slightly menacing side. There are those other sides to HS that hardly come to the fore , but the way they hint at them under the surface and the way Aniruddh plays the hints of those layers is really well done.

Yes, and the he was out an out hard on Khatri the other day when he threatened to beat him up. I wanna see more of that.

Exactly. What she does isn't a sacrifice according to her. It's a way of life for her. She gets tired but she will always love her mother and defend her vehemently.

This was the 3rd May epi I think....during the depression track. HS was trying to cheer up Mini by asking her to come watch a movie with him and then Babita interrupted and said ki shopping bhi karenge, toh that’s when HS said this ki “aap kahaan se beech mein aa gayi? This is between me and Veer Balika” 😆....

I would love to see this HS returning as well without being in constant fear of Babita.

This reminds me, I wanted to ask what you guys thought about the chowkidaar remark by Mickey. Why was it made? I truly thought he respects HS too much to say something like that.

It also felt weird that all Mini did to rebuke him was give him a look. Was that Mickey's frustration as Mini's friend about what she was going through? Was that blatant disrespect?

I think it's inevitable.

The thing that makes me sad is both HS and Minnie are behaving as though all the blurring and misunderstandings were about their one and only shot at bonding. That's not true at all. If they both really care about each other and want to be in each other's lives permanently then they can learn some lessons and keep working on their bond. It's not over or a finality but they both sound defeated. So sad.

I wish they would look forward to building something together and also just go with the flow a little bit without setting deadlines or targets themselves. Things will happen organically. They gravitate towards one another because of their dard ka rishta, and the fact is that even today NO ONE understands Minnie like HS does.

LOL yes it’s still not as bad as other forums. But all forums get to the same lame fanwars when people start resenting some characters at the cost of others....as is being done here with the resentment against Mini and HS.

Oh well, yeah I’ll discuss where I can. It’s obvious there is no point discussing things with people who seem to think we only want HS-Mini at the cost of Babita. You can’t convince people who insist on twisting things and trying to label HS-Mini fans as hypocrites 🤷‍♀️
