Nobody is trying to take Babita's choice away from her.....Mini is trying to inform her....she's worried for her....and frankly, seeing Babita ki harkatein, I can't blame Mini if she is worried for her.....even NB has noticed that Babita is losing her identity in getting carried away.

Right i dont see babita realizing it. Actually mini was trying to make her realize when she was living with khuranas also but she needed a big jolt of ashok cheating on her and getting mita home to realize she was living in a bubble.

Its babitas choice yes but if she would have been left to make the choice she would still have been living with khuranas when ashok came home with mita.

And if babita is not stopped now she will be going back on whatever she has learnt after walking out of khurana house. The idea of love and all is fine but its never a good idea to loose yourself in anyones love even if the person is a person like HS

And i dont understand this concept of taking names of the other. wife husband ki utni hi hoti hai jina husband wife ka then why does only the wife has to take up names. Another kind of patriarchal view

Yes it's superb and can be a turning point for Minnie and her plus a way to give a great message to women out there. I know the writer said it's not a message board or something but when you show something in media people are bound to get influenced by it.

This show has capture both male and female audiences so in a way the PH does have a bit of social responsibility.

Even with HS and Minnie, we are just barely hanging on. They've ruined their characters too, though maybe not as much as Babita's. Those two are connected to her so what happens to her affects them as well.

Even if she wants to be a housewife eventually, fine. But it has to be her choice and done for the right reasons - it's her life, her wish and I hope she makes the best of it.

At this point there are so many things that needs to be bothered about, surname change should be at the bottom of the list. Are these writers the same people who wrote first 200 episodes? Clearly at this point a redemption arc for babita is needed (sooner the better), but I don't see any signs of that happening. Maybe HS' Chachi would give some momentum to otherwise stagnant story.

@bold I hope so. At least, that's the impression I got from Paridhi's interview. Otherwise, this show is going to become the very saas-bahu type of show we wanted to avoid. I wonder how long Chachi will be around on the show.

Like this identity bit. She has been gushing about losing herself in love since few days.
Saroj also has similar views. She said something like.. sindoor mein aap pe bahot jach raha hai. Sach Didi, Pati ke naam ka sindoor hi ek aurat ko khubsurat banata hai or something like that. Basically if you aren’t married, there is no worth to you as woman.

So this promo doesn’t only focus on Babita but all those women who thinks Sindoor, pati, suhaag are woman’s identity.

It’s a great plot only if the message gets across properly. These days I fear execution very much.

@bold i was like what kind of nonsense she is telling. Babita was complete even without HS . thats what they showed before marriage. It was like two equals coming together because they wanted to stay with each other and for mini also. But yaha to they are showing as if bina HS ki sindoor ke babita ki koi value hi nahi thi. As if marriage is the ultimate thing. Are they insulting all the single girls out there who choose to stay single. Trust me babita had more worth in just before the marriage phase than what she is after marriage now.
