Well Babes have been on the “jhat shadi Pat bachha” train and saw how it goes.

A couple needs understanding between them before a kid comes. It’s too early for Babes and HS. I didn’t have issue with Mini’s reaction. agar koi shadi ki turant baad bachhe ki baat karega toh I will have same reaction ki bhai wait kar lo.

You know it would extremely stupid to let go of such a perfectly set up business where all you have to do is supervise. It’s right next to your house. And it’s the thing that you enjoy doing, cooking.
I would give an arm to have such a set-up.

Its so easily manageable apart from being grihasthan. Pay few house help for different chores. Everybody in India have them nowadays.

Shop gives you freedom and financial stability and security.

There are 100s of women out there who do not want to work. Do not want to leave kids and toil themselves to provide for the family but they do.

Here this lady has it easy. It’s stupidity to give up such a setup. They could be fine with HS salary. But nobody knows tomorrow. What if it brings financial troubles? Regret at that time that we let go of our money making business coz Babes wanted to be Grihasthan? She doesn’t even have in-laws to take care of. Mini is a grown up. If she has a kid and she takes a break I can understand. But now? It’s impractical!

Mini wasn’t forcing Babita. She was just giving her opinion. They are like friends. I would tell my friends the same. Ultimately obviously it’s couple’s choice but you try to make them see the bright side.

I know it might be in light spirit but somehow, I'm not okay with that. Specially since Mini is already on my nerves.

Yes, and HS is not the kind of guy who expects his wife to do his seva 24/7 either so it's not like she will be super busy at home. Besides, when she has migraines or is tired, then where will she order food from?

Mini’s reaction looked Normal to me. And Mini and Babes share that bond. Remember Mini once read a romantic novel to Babes. They don’t have that awkwardness discussing such stuff. So mujhe to phine laga.

First of all it's totally HS and Babita's decision. Secondly, they may want to become parents soon so that they can still have the energy to raise a kid. She's 35 and he's 37 now so the clock's ticking on their jawaani.
