Does Deepika's acting talent get overshadowed by her stardom?

Deepika is a very good actress, and is versatile too. But does her acting talent get overshadowed by her stardom? Like, her phenomenal performance in Tamasha is less talked about than her good looks in the movie. Also, her comic timing is pitch-perfect for e.g. in Chennai Express but people don't acknowledge that so much.

Is her acting talent less talked about than other aspects of her personality? And if so, why?
