Tell us about Vodafone Yeh Hai Jalwa on 9X.

Vodafone Yeh Hai Jalwa is a dance reality show. But you have to watch it to see how different it is from any other dance reality show.

What made you sign on Vodafone Yeh Hai Jalwa? What are your expectations from the
show?

Practically speaking, Reality shows are always very good money and last for a short time. So
they are good fun while they last. My expectations from Vodafone Yeh Hai Jalwa are nil I am
here just to enjoy the experience that this platform provides for.

Tell us about your team members – the Guru Kool?

My team is full of Guru's from various walks of life. A lot of people auditioned but I chose an all-woman team. Most of them are trained dancers who have not danced in years. So, I guess to train my team I have to get them dancing again. Once the body starts responding to the rhythm, learning the steps is never a problem.

How will you train your team?

The USP of Vodafone Yeh Hai Jalwa is of course the fact that it's not just one celebrity dancing alone or with a partner or choreographer. There are 5 contestants that I'm going to dance with who are common people. Our plan of action very clearly is just to dance & practice!

What do you think will be the USP of Vodafone Yeh Hai Jalwa? What's your plan of
action?

The concept of Vodafone Yeh Hai Jalwa is a very big USP of the show. My team members are experts, and that will make the performances special. The plan is to have maximum fun and
try and do something different every week.

The show has no jury- what is your take on that?

That is what is different about the Vodafone Yeh Hai Jalwa. That's the best part of the show.

Who will be your strongest competition on the show?

Our own self. We have to learn not to be disappointed after 1 bad performance. The competition is rising from that bad performance and rising strong. The fight is mostly against our own self to perform better and deliver more than expected.
