Today, instead of saying father, she said father figure. Interesting.

But that implies that Babita will keep bringing it up and that's not fair to him. He shouldn't have to grow a thick skin over it since Babita shouldn't be saying it in the first place.

Noticed it too. It's been well established by now that despite his wishes, he's not Minnie's father. So I guess they're attempting to revisit a place that he could occupy safely - that of a father figure.

Catch up on all the years she missed out on and how she should move forward. Managing a newly turned adult child, but not compromising on her own womanhood. How to feel confident in herself regardless of anything, whether it's clothing, beauty, the ability to carry herself or taking well calculated risks.

We could have even tackled so many insecurities Babita had, especially the initial jealousy she had felt towards Poonam's and HS' flirting.

It's not just Babita, but I've noticed how in all ITV shows, FLs are rarely ever given friends, especially best friends. If they are, then they'll always be the FLs sauten ya phir khoon ki pyaasi. Like, ek achi dost dikhane mein inka kya chala jaata?

Exactly!!! I really really wanted to see more of Poonam-Babita's friendship. Everything that you said and Poonam would have really really helped in Babita's growth as an individual, as a woman. Yes, Babita has NB to share her problems with but NB is still her buzurg, she's like her MIL, she can't share everything with NB. You need a friend who you can share anything with with, like Mini has Preet and Mickey, and HS has Lala, Babita needs someone too.

You know that conversation between NB and Babita when Babita expresses how she wants to consume all of HS's love and also how subtly she expresses her feelings for HS. I could totally imagine Babita talking to Poonam about this but in a more frank, direct manner, you know. Also, I feel Poonam would have told Babita to not loose her individuality, to not compromise on her dreams, her business in the name of love. Yeah, being in love and receiving love from your partner is great, but you shouldn't loose your individuality in the process. PB is her pehchaan. I feel Poonam would have best made Babita realize this. She would have given Babita a reality check as friends do.

Ohh so many insecurities she could have discussed with Poonam and received great insight on it. Even, something related to her sex life, she could discuss with Poonam, or even her late pregnancy, and you know maybe being ashamed because she has an adult daughter now, she could discuss all this with Poonam. Aghhh I feel like they really cheated us by introducing Poonam, but never really making use of this relationship.

I know right, ITV shows never show true female friendship. It always ends up in both falling for the same guy, love triangle and some jealously and sautan crap 🤪

And even if they do, I doubt either of them paid much attention it. Babita toh sharam se laal ho jayegi aur HS kissi hor vaja se. 🤣🤣

@Bold: Idk. I didn't go to school in India so mujhe nahi pata 😆.. Maybe not back then, but maybe now they do.

Kuch nahi sikha inhone for sure even if they did lol... or they are just not able to control or in such a hurry that they forget to use one lmao 🤣🤣

Agree . ITV thinks two women can never be friends.😆

There are few exceptions though. Aniruddh's previous show Ruk jaana nahi had showed a best friend of FL who was a true friend and they didn't fall for same guy. As far as I remember she remained a true friend until the end.

Babita isn't just conservative, she's obsessed with this funda. Matlab, it's like a robot and she's been programmed to care about what society think of her. Jab tak yeh mar ni jayegi, tab tak yeh logo ki parwa karti rahegi.

Aree lekin they could have actually discussed being in a live-in relationship, and decided to stay in the same room as now... waise this is wishful thinking on my part, Babita would have never been okay with this 😆

Actual live-in was out of question for these two. Maybe be Mini will be in a live-in relationship later 😉

I hope writers finish off this log kya kahenge crap soon.

Lol that character was played by Paridhi. How freaking ironic is that??? 😲

That actor who was opposite Aniruddh is nowhere to be seen in the industry and here Aniruddh and Paridhi are paired opposite each other. So ironic.

This is why I loved their early morning slow burn romance so much! It was so earthy, so real.

The radio playing, Babes praying and HS looking at her serenely. B opening her hair was such a tease for H. Him wiping that hair clip before handing it back.

And SMACK! Newspaper on your face. Just a normal morning. 🤣

PS: if anyone can remind me of the name of the song for this scene, please help me out. I can't remember that or the episode number.

They do, though I don't know how it goes down in Patiala. People I know from there surely know about safe sex though.

Even if it takes place, kids usually act silly, make jokes and giggle mostly. I don't know how much registers and how much they learn from other means. 😆
