I would have liked it more if he had simply said " I love her and thats all that matters " The rest he could have hashed it out with his dad , but that simple declaration for me would have made more sense

Nooooo thats what typical ITV bahus do. The moment they get married they forget all abt their career and get busy solving all the interpersonal problems in their sasural one by one (like Parvati was solving her nanad’s marriage crisis). Dr Ishita in YHM used to solve more family issues daily than she used to extract teeth (used to watch the show until they got married & she started forgetting she has a dental clinic!).

If Sona becomes a Sippy bahu she has Naren-Rohit estrangement, Tanya-Rohan marriage, Pooja adoptiin, Nishi-Sulochana estrangement, Nishi-YK tiffs, Aakash-Deepa marriage delay, maybe even finding a groom for Vimmi. She wont find any time for shooting & become real-life Parvati.

Honestly, this was the best thing to have happened in the show since the past week. I was totally not expecting Surgeon to go on and on at naren aunty. Kudos! Producer, writer and actors.

Aunty had it coming, I hope they delve more into the conflict and not get it brushed away by veena intercepting the father son duo. They really need some man-to-man talk.

I don’t see any difference between a typical ITV saas and Naren. Just for the sake of drama, they’ve made him against Sonakshi. Frankly Sonakshi did not do anything huge to elicit this reaction from Naren. How easily has this man forgotten the Parvati-style sacrifice that Sona did for Pooja?!

And let’s face it. Sonakshi is already a typical ITV FL. Most of the times she is acting like Parvati only.

I don't even get it why Naren is so against Sonakshi being an actress when they have their own model in the house and as per predication to be believed she is his daughter only.
