As u r entitled to your opinion so are we. We dont think their performances r upto mark 👿 or they r good looking though u may think so. Tv is a visual medium .

N we may hv gone overboard with look comments but Please refrain from attacking members at personal level by talking abt getting old n breaking mirrors. Really it was in bad taste.

N DO NOT even try to get into personal space of any forum member.

And I repeat, enough of rural based serials. As it is, our mother tongue Marathi is having some serious issues these days. Even Marathi news channels are also using horrible Marathi some times

So swatch sunder Marathi from some excellent actors is music to my ears. That's why, once again I stick to my point... We want programs with some nice faces and shudhha Marathi.

Nothing is wrong in expecting these things. And if there are average faces with huge talent of acting, they will find there own place in this show biz industry.

An actor is judged on his ability to act and not how he or she looks. If looks had really mattered then Om Puri, Nana Patekar, Nawazuddin, Amrapurkar and other powerhouse of talents would not have seen the silver screen.

Have seen some episodes of the serials mentioned and the actors are decent looking and even if they had been ugly it would not matter as long as they are giving good performance, those actors are giving a decent performance.

55% of Maharashtra population is in rural areas, so it is not wrong to have rural themed stories and obviously rural audience is also watching these TV serials bcoz serials like Tujhyat Jeev Rangla and Lagira Jhala ji maintained there top spots till the end. At any time there are all kinds of shows on TV, not just rural. Zee Marathi has had rural themed shows for a long time.

Even RKC about which we are going gaga is a rural themed show. But nobody is dissing that show and it does not even figure on the top 5 rating list .

Comments on page 92 are just plain horrible. They are not only horrible they are demeaning, discriminating, superficial and smack of vanity.

I hope when you guys get old you smash all the mirrors in your house bcoz nobody gets out of life beautiful and maybe you won't be able to look at yourself then.

I mean seriously, WTF.

OK, Shall we come back to the topic of AS?

I think we have a set of good lookers in this serial. No complaints. GO and NS are really good looking considering their age. TP is a stunner (except when she goes into lade lade or toothpaste advt. mode). Soham is tall and reasonably good looking (including his trimmed beard) but can't act for nuts. Ajoba is really good looking even at his advanced age. The staff at Abhi's kitchen including Mandodari are quite pleasant looking. Pradnya has deliberately been presented in garish makeup and dresses only because she is supposed to be a negative character.

All in all pleasant to watch along with the fact that it is a different subject of platonic romance of the seniors being handled sensitively (so far).

I saw Ashi hi banwa banwi for the first time the other day. Nivedita looks really pretty in the movie. She has aged well. Infact, there's hardly any difference. niragas ani bolke dole, titkach goad hasu.

I so agree with the swatch marathi thing. I'm so done listening to dialects. For people like us, it gets very difficult to understand what the actor is saying. That's exactly what happened with lagnachi wife wedding chi Baayko trailer. I had to see the trailer thrice to understand that the other woman was his bayko.

And dont even get me started on the horrible attempts few actors do while trying a particular dialect. Ratris Khel chale was an apt example for this. Only Pandu out of the whole lot said his Malvani perfectly. Baki sagle were doing really bad. It was painful to the ears to listen to their attempt.
