Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are all set to celebrate their first Diwali together post tying the knot in December last year at Lake Como, Italy. Sharing their plans about making the festival memorable, in an interview with DNA, the Padmaavat actress revealed that it’s going to be out and out family time.
Deepika also revealed that they have set a strict rule for each other and that is they won’t be working at all during the festivities and won’t be active on social media or for that matter even socialising with friends and colleagues, it’s going to be purely a family affair.
Deepika said, “Family time, we extremely value the time we have with our parents and sisters. We will not be working that's the rule and we won't be socialising much. Just family time!”
During the interview, Deepika also attributed her success to hubby Ranveer Singh and said that a lot of what she is able to achieve is because of him [Ranveer Singh].
“Isn terms of how comfortable he’s been with my success, or how supportive he is. We’re a good team. We’re still so excited by each other, so inspired by each other. He’s my best friend.”
On the work front, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have shared screen space in films such as Ram Leela, Bajirao Mastani, and Padmaavat and now, they will be seen in Kabir Khan’s ’83 wherein Deepika Padukone will be playing the role of Romi Dev, while Rnaveer will play the role of Kapil Dev.
