Hrithik Roshan to give a speech at Oxford Union by year end

Thanking audiences in India and abroad, I look forward to meeting the students at this Union, says Hrithik

Riding high on the success of his latest release Super 30, Hrithik Roshan has now been invited by the Oxford Union, which is the historically-acclaimed student society at the prestigious Oxford University. The union has extended the coveted invitation letter to the actor to speak at their University and interact with the students.

Reportedly, many of the members of the Oxford Union are Bollywood fans or aspiring actors themselves, and they are looking forward to hearing Hrithik narrate the tales and inspirations behind his rise to stardom. With a career spanning across 19 years, and a wide range of roles, his latest outing as the mathematician Anand Kumar in Super 30 has been lauded and the film has been a box-office success, too.

Says Hrithik, “I am extremely delighted that not just in India, but people overseas are also appreciating the hard work we have put in Super 30. It’s my responsibility to spread as much inspiration, happiness, and knowledge as I can through the cinema I do and even, through interactions. The movie is about a selfless man who is spreading the word of knowledge and education and making people’s lives better. Thanking audiences in India and abroad, I look forward to meeting the students at this prestigious Union.”

While the date is yet to be finalised, the Kaabil star is likely to fly to the UK and speak at the union at the end of this year.

Since I'm so interested in thirsting over the Greek God's genius mind, I had to do my own research to figure out when I should block my schedule.

Hrithik and his PR have informed us the speech will happen before "year end."

Oxford doesn't have Hrithik on their schedule but according to dear Thunderlight, he knows the dates himself. The mystery deepens.

So did Hrithik Roshan pull a classic Kangana move? Did his PR make things up like how Kangu was supposed to speak at Harvard and then her name never showed up on the list?

He even shamelessly gave quotes about being thankful for it. For a LIST THAT DOENS'T EXIST. There is no sign of a list like that anywhere.

So we know they are capable of blatantly making things up.

-Then again, it may totally be true that Hrithik is giving a speech at Oxford even though his name is not on the official list. It may have been given exclusively to Thunderlight in order the keep the "stalkers and haters" away. It's perfectly reasonable.

I'm sure Thunderlight is correct though. So I ask him to please give us the date that he already has so we can all enjoy this amazing upcoming Oxford speech by Hrithik.

Ab sun, Kangana was invited by Harvard Business School, not Oxford University.

Oxford University students and faculty are known for inviting every star. And the stars give out a general statement in courtesy. Whether, they actually go there is a different matter as most dont go due to schedules and other stuff.

Over the years, they hv invited everyone from SRK to Katrina to even Sanya Malhotra to speak to students!

Those Irrfan articles was shared by SRK pr team and they even trended a hashtag on social media before their bullshit was exposed by Irrfan himself! And if mediocre crappy actors like SRK n Katrina can get invited, u think a Supremely Talented Allrounder like Hrithik can't get invited? Even SRK, Katrina, Sanya gave general statements that they will consider it but never went. So, whats the big deal?
