Sky is pink bombs.Priyanka has No star power- BOI

The Sky Is Pink took a poor opening of around 10% as it has nothing for mass or even the urban youth. The film does not have star power and the music could not push the film.

The last Priyanka Chopra film was Jai Gangaajal in 2016 and the opening is less than that film even at the multiplexes. The film can make ground in the evening but it will be mainly in the metro multiplexes as film hardly holds appeal for the wider audience. Even if big growth comes over the weekend the test will be Monday as most films are showing huge growth on Saturday.

War is still the dominant film at the box office and although there is a drop from Thursday it will still put up a good number and be the top collecting film this week. War is collecting better than the new release The Sky Is Pink in the high end premium multiplexes of metro which is the target audience of Sky Is Pink.

Joker has held up strongly on its second Friday and has hardly shown a drop from Thursday. The film is an easy HIT on the strength of business in the big multiplexes. The film has been released on English only and could be the highest grosser ever for a film releases in English only in India though not as big as HIT as Titanic which remains by far the biggest English language only HIT in India.

Bullshit. It's the genre. When Hrithik did Guzaarish also it had a low opening.

Yeah. Because of a huge budget. It still collected between 35-40 cr (in 2010), which still is a decent amount for an offbeat film that was half in English and clashed with Harry Potter.

Who even expected it to open well? Only low IQ masala crap opens well. There's a reason why Super 30 opens badly but War opens huge even though it stars the same person. Actors like Salman never do anything outside the safe genre and then brag about the opening.

PC anyway has no star power and hasn't been seen in years. Her last films were as a supporting actor or irrelevant ones like Gangajal. If people end up liking the movie, it will pick up.

Sumit kadel: One of the main reason for such a low opening for is the film title itself. Normal audience ko yeh tak nai malum hai thik se yeh picture Hindi hai ya English. Why to keep such title when your film is starring mainstream actors.

This samosa seller is a paid troll. He tweets for 10 rupees. Bollywood movies have had English titles often and nobody gets confused by that.
