The makers are trying to increase Preeta's Mahaanta quotient to infinity and beyond. 😆

However, on a more serious note, no matter whatever, Karan has done (or will do in the future), the makers couldn't not show them supporting/caring for each others mortal safety in such situations. That bit was important. Nevertheless, I don't believe Preeta has actually forgiven Karan for anything at all.
