I actually didn't see it this way.

His point wasn't who was right or wrong. His point was that being rude to your parents is not acceptable no matter what they say. It's the same thing he had told her before, that no matter what Babita did, she couldn't behave badly with her.

The other side is for Babita to learn, that what she did was wrong, and even the way she failed to acknowledge her mistake when Minnie returned was also wrong. God knows if HS can get this through to her that yelling at Minnie or slapping her is not the solution, no matter what the subject matter is. I also suspect he gave her a demo to make her see what she must have looked like when yelling at Minnie earlier. I remember him once telling Babita that she was too harsh with Minnie. Now I don't know if she got the message or not, but HS was trying to make her see what Lala was saying earlier on.

I don't think he's in a good spot right now after yelling at Minnie. He needs a break from this madhouse.

Saying ashok threw her out of the house was low for me .

I am assuming that minnie is very soon gonna say you are not my father .

Its frustating to live in a house where no one understands you. Your mother slaps you coz some one else said some nonsense and the father flares up coz of the mother and gets angry.

That was really shocking for me, to be honest. Minnie looked at her face and knew it immediately because she knows Babita has a habit of not speaking the truth or presenting the full picture as per her convenience. In all this, she is upset with HS but will feel even more distant from her mother.

Also, this look:

This was such a low blow. I'm still fuming because of this.

Even with Babita and what all she said in the mix, he shouldn't have vented all of that out on Minnie. It's absolutely unfair. This HS 2.0 (after CD incident HS) is not worthy of being a parent to Minnie.

Absolutely true.

And babita after what all she did even if she dosent speak up now and tell HS the truth then her conscience is dead

Three teenagers, two of them being girls taking lift from a strange truck.. Excellent!

Mini hurt being called Meeta... Understandable

Mini's talks about being a survivor actually had me rolling my eyes

Ghoom phir k we again talk about Babita's ego.. Excellent! Its like all the characters have this one tangent on which they can always blame all the problems.. Babita's ego.. They never feel the need to reflect any further

Babita did consider Hanuman to be Mini's father till the point that Hanuman became all distant to Mini post wedding.. Doubts would undoubtedly creep in given the way his and Mini's relationship has been post wedding.. Hanuman was not handling things his own way.. He was not handling things at all.. This pressure has been taken on by Hanuman himself by falsely calling himself Mini's father to appease Babita (His words)

Fathers scold.. Thats completely ordinary.. What Hanuman did was not scolding as a father but making a point to Babita which is why it was wrong.. Mini deserved a scolding for whatever she did and said and if it was pre wedding Hanuman, he would have still scolded Mini but not to show Babita what she had asked for..

The distance between Mini and Babita is because Babita has started speaking her own mind and Mini is unable to accept that

Babita did not tell Hanuman what she told Mini.. Wrong.. But then they shifted the focus of their conversation to Hanuman's role as father that it is hardly surprising

How can a grown man. who is lauded for his sensitivity and wisdom, use a 17 yr old kid to prove a point to his wife? First babita and now HS is bashing, humiliating and demeaning Minnie in front of others (friends, grandparents) all in the course of one day. Is a 17 yr old not supposed to have any self-respect or dignity. They couldn't.. the two grown azz parents.. taken her to a secluded spot to speak their harsh comments?

I usually don't like Minnie but I felt so bad for today when HS scolded her. His words were very harsh ..Not expected from himm😵 it was so overdone just to victimize Minnie . ..

But what Minnie was writing in her diary was not true ..Babita has become over cautious for her but Minnie is not able to understand and taking it as Babes is going away from her and I don't even know what apnapan she is not feeling with Babes now ..She can still put her head in her lap but to give HS & Babes some space she herself stay sway from them & why doesn't she study instead of thinking all this thay too just within a week ...urgh

Being rude is one thing. He has been harping on this for a while now, but the fact is that he still didn't ask her as to what happened. And if we look at it, Minnie was loud and rude to her during the selfish wala comment. With this whole Mickey fiasco, she has remained calm and spoken to her rationally. Even though her statements may not have been completely correct, her tone was much lower compared to Babita's. She was wrong to not pick up Babita's phone calls, so I'm okay with HS calling her out on that too. But Babita needed to be scolded too. To compare her teenage daughter to Meeta, and then humiliate not just her but also her friends? Come on, that's not right either.

I don't think Babita understood that. She just saw HS going too far with the house wala comment. I mean, isn't this what she wanted? What else did she expect was going to happen? And then the constant looks she was giving to Minnie's room and crying? Just why?? She already hurt Minnie so much and then on top of that she provoked HS even more and he yelled at his chhori even more and it's just all so messed up now.
