When Hanuman told her that he called himself Mini's father to appease her, she first thought of Mini's hurt before the fact she had been misled.. what Mini and Babita face right now is merely a classic case of generation gap where none of the parties are wrong.. it does not imply that Babita had done nothing for Mini or that their bond is one-sided.. it just means that now that Babita has started voicing her opinions, there is bound to be a clash.. earlier, mini spoke and Babita listened.. now Babita has started to speak and thus they have some problems due to different opinions

The fault lies with the writers. Yes we expect characters to be flawed, who isn’t? But the flaws they’ve created are so far from the character themselves that it seems difficult to get with these almost new characters. It’s like, to make the viewer sympathise with a character, they go to the extremes with the characters around them even if it makes no sense. They did this with ashok, when they wanted to show babita as the perfect wife/DIL and now they’re doing it with both babita and Hs to have the viewer sympathise with mini. Only it’s being done to such an extreme that it’s hard to remember this being the same babita who would shun the world for her daughter. I still believe the bond is one sided and that babita is just a typical mother after all.

I do think mini is right with this whole thing with Micky and that babita is only afraid of what ppl will say due to her own insecurities. For one, proving “the world” right wit her ending up with hs, and for 2 her and him not being able to be friends. All this can be solved imo if babitas character grew a bit and had the maturity to discuss problems rather than lash out. I don’t like what’s being shown to be done to mini and I don’t like what the makers are turning hs and babita into (eg her telling half truths to hs to get him to scold mini, and he’s no better picking on ashok- that was a new low).

PS do you know where this sudden “father” issue has come from? From what I understand, babita married hs cos she loved him. Then on the wedding night due to her supposed insecurities, she claimed she only married him for mini. Now they’re coming back to the father issue. Anyone know why this is being forced? Babita expects hs to act like a father even tho mini is not accustomed to having a father, nor he a daughter. It gets very confusing at times how it just jumps from one thing to the next 🤪🤣

If you are bent on considering this bond one sided, nothing I say will be able to change your mind.. so I would let that be

Mini is not right that Babita could not control herself.. Mini is not being truthful when she said she is clear about feelings regarding Micky.. mini was not right when she climbed down the balcony to meet Micky..

Babita is afraid that Mini's life would end up being complicated in the mess that the three seem to be creating.. Babita is old school and consery.. no way would she be fine with a male friend of Mini's staying over.. if she is uncomfortable with Mini and Micky's closeness, she has the right to voice it out

Yes.. Babita should not have compared Mini to Meeta.. she should not have lashed out.. but then Mini too should not have lashed out at Babita, called her selfish, give Lovely a clean chit, make Babita feel guilty of wanting to be a good wife to Hanuman or taunted about her lack of control with regards to Hanuman

If you remember, Babita changed her mind about leaving haveli after seei g the bond Hanuman and Mini shared and accepted her feelings for Hanuman.. she was most touched with Hanuman when he took care of Mini.. Yes.. she loves Hanuman and wanted to marry him got her love but a part of her love also stemmed from the fact that Hanuman took great care of Mini and would give Mini the fatherly love that was missing in her life..

It has already been cleared that she hid behind the married for Mini excuse because she was still guilty about falling in love with Hanuman so I will let that point be

Babita expects Hanuman to be a father because that's what Hanuman claimed to be.. Mini might not be accustomed to it or feel the need for it, but the truth is she does need a father in her life, someone who would discipline her and guide her..

I wouldn’t say I’m “bent” on considering it one sided, it’s just how I see it. POV is determined by a lot of factors and as a result not everyone sees things in the same way. Perhaps you get the character or babita a bit more that I do but i actually agree with everything mini said. I do think she’s shown as selfish and mini didn’t say she couldn’t control herself, she said she couldn’t control her feelings. Which is true (not that this is a bad thing as both Hs and babita were free to fall in love). Mini’s “friendship” however is different to hers as it’s a 3 way thing and even if she fell head over heels, due to preet, she would never act on it. It was these two comparisons which I thought was being referenced when she said “you couldn’t control your feelings). You’re forgetting that mini only told her that she’s trying to be a good wife to babita because she was stopped from seeing her grandparents (which is wrong) for fear they’re going to talk badly about babita ( another selfish act). Similarly, just as babita has a right to voice her concerns/thoughts so to does mini. I personally was brought up with both parents and kids having the right to speak their mind and disagree, so see nothing wrong with whatever was said (not even by babita, if her reason for saying it weren’t kammo’s voice echoing her in mind). I find it strange how the wrongs you’ve mentioned by babita come with more justification than those done by mini. I guess we all just identify with different ppl in the show, Just as some think hs can do no wrong. We’ll have to agree to disagree. Just so u know I don’t hate babita, I just think the writers have not done her justice and has made a lot of viewers detached from her which is a shame
