She passed that off only to HS expecting him to fix this....kyun bhai? TUMHARI beti nahin thi tab?

Suddenly Babita ko conveniently Mini ka heartbreak feel ho raha hai? 😆

And exactly.....has Babita ever even remotely reflected on what Mini needs as a father? And if she was marrying HS supposedly for Mini (as she claimed), why did she not talk to Mini about whether she was fully ready for a new father too? That too at this stage when she's almost an adult herself?

Ashok isn't the only father she's seen.....Babita had her own father....so it's not like the concept of a father is totally alien to her.....but chalo maan lete hain since the writers try to convince us daily she doesn't have even an iota of a brain.......even then, for an otherwise hyper anxious mother to not even have ONE conversation with her daughter about introducing a new father in her life defies belief.

Yup!

Or even question her on how Minnie felt after what happened on the Jaggo night. Instead, woh toh shaadi torwane mein lagi hui thi. Or how about the fact she didn't pick up on the feelings hidden behind Minnie's akhri baar sar par tel laga de comment. Minnie dismissed it as a joke aur usne maan liya? Heck, Babita even told Minnie that she can't tell the difference between her jokes and her serious talks... which is 🤔. How can you as a mother not pick up on these things?

Loll, for these kind of conversations to take place, Babita first needs to see Minnie as an adult. For her, Minnie keeps oscillating between a child and an adult as per her convenience.

She was confident actually till the CD fiasco.. that coupled with Kammo's taunts and Hanuman's behavior post it all is what made her question.. she never did before..

If she was still so unsure of how HS would be as a father to Minnie, then she shouldn't have gotten married, period. She didn't need Minnie's permission for this. If she felt any doubts herself, then she shouldn't have gone through with it. To have her constantly put HS under the ringer like this isn't fair to him.

One thing I found really bizarre in yesterday's episode was how HS just abandoned such a serious case of dowry torture and suicide attempt by a citizen and came home running because Babita was being hysterical about her and Minnie's situation. I was fine with that until they showed HS having long and detailed conversation with Babita about who fell in love first and who had more attraction towards the other.

What the heck! Couldn't that conversation have been kept for a time when they are alone and work and a truant teenager weren't the pressing issues? As it is HS doesn't have to share his time at home between Babita and Minnie anymore after marriage. His sole preoccupation seems to be keeping Babita happy and so all his time and concern are also taken up by Babita right now. They could have shown HS pacifying Babita and returning back to station. or they could have shown him going out to find Minnie on his own volition and not to prove a point to Babita. He has left his duty twice in one day and he was busy reminiscing and analyzing romantic history with his wife. Even if there was a link to the particular conversation related to Kammo's words couldn't the Big Talk have waited until night when they are alone in their bedroom?

Agreed.

Him leaving his work abruptly isn't a good sign. I really don't wanna see him continue to do this in the future. His duty should come first and baaki saari cheezein baad mein, especially his recollection of his attraction towards Babita.

Since Minnie's safety was of utmost importance, he could have called her or her friends up and found out himself and then relayed the message. He's already compromising on a lot because of these two. His duty shouldn't be one of them.

There is no naivety Babita expecting a father daughter relationship between Mini and Hanuman.. she did not have a conversation because she did not feel the need to.. Hanuman and Mini behaved like father daughter through amd through.. Mini went against her to support Hanuman.. then Hanuman called himself Mini's father and Mini had no objection.. mini and Hanuman were heartbroken at losing each other when Babita had decided to move out

All this made it clear that Babita did not really have to worry about father daughter relationship between Hanuman and Mini

Exactly what I wanted to say 🙌

If after this, HS faces suspension or disciplinary action at work (and to be frank, they really should show some kind of fallout after today's events) then people will blame Babita and Minnie. But I feel there has been quite a steady erosion of HS's character arc lately. He is being shown as totally besotted with Babita and whatever Babita says, Hanuman SIngh does. He has been shown to have weak convictions and even weaker resolve - 'Minnie tu first hai hamare liye' to today's confession about his feelings towards Minnie. And now he is being shown as a man who is irresponsible towards his official duties as a policeman. His words about how the police force is there only for the welfare of the citizens were shown to be hollow today. He wasn't even concerned about Miinie when he came home - Chori aa jayegi jab gussa thanda ho jayega, which makes his reason for coming home even shallower and unconvincing

This I completely agree with. He shouldn’t have rushed home like that. The conversation could have waited. There was a reason why they showed him not paying attention to his job. He might get suspended or loose his job 🤔

Also writers are super confused about Hanita’s relationship themselves:

First they showed HS falling in love with Babita, then that whole passion during Dheere Jalna, then Imarti angle and insulting Babita of being attracted to a paraya mard, then the proposal, then after kammo’s outburst, Ji mahre liye aap mini ke baad, then marriage, then the whole Mini bhi teesri hai, and now we were always attracted to each other even pre-divorce.

So much contradiction here! 🤔

Dheere chalna followed by 'Imarti ki jagah koi nahi le sakti mera dil me' to 'Kya makan malkin banogi?' 'Minnie hamesha first hai mere liye' to Minnie being an afterthought in their marriage. Yeh ajeeb dastaan hai
