I agree. She could have said the same thing in other ways. Babita should have answered back and said Beta I was ready to move out of this house and not marry HS because of our feelings but you forced us to stay under one roof and pushed us to marry so stop with this soulmate crap of yours! I don't get it.. do some people honestly think Babita was not a mother to Mini in those 17 years? How so? Mini might have been worried about mother since four years of age and cared for her happiness but she really did not have to do much till Ashok came back.. Babita is the one eho raised mini.. yes.. she did not do a perfect job but it's not true that for those 17 years, it was Mini who was mothering Babita.. Babita did not really need all that hard core mothering at that point.. How does Mini giving wings to her mother since the past one year take away 17 years of upbringing? I mean, what the hell?!

It is because of Babita that the two have such a friendly relationship.. laga deti bachpan mein do chante, na dunti uski you Mini wouldn't have been the independent girl she is today... Granted, Babita had a role in making her batameezi and know it all too

In the beginning of the show, Minnie has lied to Babita many times. Whether it was about her selling her scooter, wanting to pawn off the jewelry to make some extra cash, the incident with Manmeet, or her failing to complete her entrance exams so that she can win some shoes - they're all incidents when Minnie has hid things or has blatantly lied to Babita.

Babita mistrusting Minnie wasn't the sole reason for her going into depression. It was an accumulation of various things that took a toll on her. The way the whole divorce went down, the financial problems, the Manmeet incident, being isolated from friends and family, losing stability in her home - it was everything and more. It's not just Babita's fault.

@bold they were to save babita from hurt not to hide things from her because lack of trust. About her friends she has been open. after the depression case even babita accepted mickey as minis friend and welcomed him. i remember mickey telling mini your mom is so accepting why are you scared of her

i dint say it was only babita but she was the last trigger to it. Mini did not share about manmeet because she felt babita wont trust her and blame her she was really depressed because of that too. Ironically the last time babes dint trust mini with her friends was also because rano taunted her. So its not because she herself dosent trust mini. Its because she has to listen to taunts and expects mini to toe her line because she dosent want to listen to them. Today remember when mini told you insulted me in front of my friends she retorted with even i am disrespected because of what you do. If she herself was really worried and did not trust mini or wanted to rest her doubts she would have dealt with it in a more coherent way.

I think she herself did not want to marry because of taunts she would have to face. mini to sirf bahana thi. like they way she hid behind mini in beginning of marriage. Now because of mini kammo taunted about her friendship to HS too and that made her even more angry

I still don't understand how Babita and Hanuman jump to feather gudgudi after she questions him.. That's why I think she is not questioning him but telling him about the taunts or something
