Edit - We'll discuss this in the CC. This isn't show related.

Posting it here

Khaled Hosseini is absolutely wonderful. A thousand splendid suns is the only book of his I've read and though it was years ago, it still to this day stays with me. So many wonderful lines, but this one still stands out to me even now: “A man's heart is a wretched, wretched thing. It isn't like a mother's womb. It won't bleed. It won't stretch to make room for you.” I definitely recommend that if you haven't already read it

No way can I skip his books. I have read that and I have read Kite Runner as well. Though this one is more acclaimed than ATSS, I love that more. No, I don't remember the line as such but I absolutely loved the book. It was so real. I haven't read And the Mountains Echoed though, I got pretty bad reviews. Have you read Amish Tripathi's books? If you have, please don't give me Raavan spoilers! I haven't read it yet! 😆

I actually only read a little bit of his first book, Immortals of Meluha and then never continued with it. But my brother and a lot of my friends are so into his books, they're all caught up too. Don't worry I don't know what happens in Raavan so I won't spoil it but I'm actually considering reading the whole series now since it's highly recommended by literally everyone I know. If you're interested in like light romances, lowkey comedies then I'd suggest Anuja Chauhan's books. She's one of the few Indian authors I really love. Zoya factor, the movie Sonam Kapoor just did, was based on her book only and while I haven't read that I've read all her other books and they're so wonderful.
