Disclaimer: These are my observations and my opinions. I'm entitled to my opinion as you are entitled to yours. If you disagree with me I have no issue with that, let's agree to disagree. If you agree then let me know!

Ishani's Character

The overacting, hamming, childishness, it's not cute. In fact it's actually quite irritating and it takes away from potential cute scenes.

Love

Not feeling this love track because there's way too much childishness, overacting and zero consistency with the characters. They're not ready yet. More character development is needed.

She's not in love, not yet anyway. It's simply a crush - rather an infatuation. Which is fair enough - we all have crushes! And who wouldn't have a crush on someone like him?

Butterfly

What is up with the butterfly? Do they think it's cute? Why does everything have to be made so childish when portraying "love"? In the beginning of the show they were addressing issues maturely and now there's a CGI butterfly? Am I even watching the same show?

I feel like they could've cast a better actress to play the role of Ishani. A lot of you will disagree with this but in my opinion, Surbhi is a terrible actress. I probably won't change my opinion unless she becomes a better actress overnight.

Agree with everything except Surbhi part. I feel she is a good actress. May be it's the fault of the script or perhaps the director (?). May be the script demands her to act in this childish way. I don't know. Regarding Ishani's character, WORD to everything you said. It's getting really silly. Right from the beginning, we have seen her threatening to complain like a school kid. And now, she's behaving in a really irresponsible way. Yes we have all had crushes but we CAN maintain a good professional relationship with crushes. Why is she running away from Sid and jeopardizing her own career? Some people feel that it's because Ishani has never seen love. Honestly speaking I don't buy that excuse. I mean she was someone who faced so many hardships in life and yet with all her hard work became a doctor, and now all she does is dream about Sid, talking about Sid to her patients, fighting in front of patients. It just seems like the initial Ishani they showed and the present Ishani are two different people. All this would have atleast made sense, if the progression was gradual. But nah, she fell in love with Sid overnight!!

Agree with all but not that SJ part! She is really a good actress...and yes it's a bit weird to watch her doing childish things but that doesn't State she is not a good actress.

Well I won't say much about that thing because you must also have your reasons behind it👍🏼

I would really not blame the actors here, the script and the directors are all to be blamed

First of all who shows this kind of kiddish love angle in a doctor's drama, obviously if we are watching a show related to the medical field then we expect some sort of medical drama going on in the show rather than this same redundant love angle. If we only wish to see some romance without a head or tail, then I guess even k series shows would provide us that, why did we even have to watch this show????

They are portraying a responsible doctor as if she's a lovestruck teenager who can't see anything beyond love and the person she loves. Stop portraying her as the sole soul in love!!!

There are so many of them out there who fall in love while working together, now if each one of them starts behaving like her and sidelines the work front for the sake of love front , then I guess the employers will soon have to incorporate a 'no falling in love with ur co-workers' clause in their contract.

It's ok if she's fallen in love, she can still work efficiently keeping her feelings at Bay during her working hours, there's no need to show nonsensical tracks of her ignoring her work and practicing yoga while her senior doctor awaits for her

Agree with you on Surabhi's acting in the show. I havent watched any of her shows previously and this is the first time I am watching and her acting is over the top. I feel that she needs to tone down her acting. And I too feel that butterfly is not needed, good acting from actress might of been enough for viewers to feel butterflies in those Sid and Ishaani scenes.

And I couldn't understand why CV's are trying to portary Ishaani as dumb.

Crush or love, whatever she is feeling for him, she was supposed to handle herself but not acting so childish like this.

I've watched two of Surbhi's shows in the past and I know she's a great actress but I am quite disappointed with the writers and the makers at this point. When the show started, it gave us real medical cases and presented us with some actual struggles that go on in the medical field - whether that be coming up with solutions on the spot, breaking the news of not being able to save the loved one to a family, or the discrimination between rich patients and poor ones. All of these things, though dramatic, were believable and watching the beautiful relationships form between the residents gave us even more reasons to watch the show. In addition, I am absolutely obsessed with Dr. Sid's character, I love Namit more than words can explain, and to me even Dr. Ishani as a character was very convincing. They were both passionate and dedicated and portrayed very well how their troubled childhood shaped them into the people they are today. I was ecstatic when they love scenes between Sid and Ishani started but I could have never expected them to rush the love story so much. Let there be interactions between them, let them bump into each other, admire one another from afar every once in a while, and let them and their story develop. Allow them to feel for each other over time, I strongly strongly disagree with what they're doing right now. I really hope they fix it soon because this show and this story has so much potential. If Sid and Ishani fall in love already, all the spice and fun would be gone and it would become boring. I mean I don't think this needs to be stated but more than watching the character in love, the audience loves watching HOW they fall in love. And I feel like the makers are snatching that privilege away from us in this case of our beloved Sid and Ishani.

I was so waiting to hear from someone that Ishani is irritating and annoying.

I started watching this show with big expectations ..watched Sanjivani 1 and Dil mil gaye .. both addressed hospital day to day life along with love stories. Sadly, its Ishani character that makes me turn off the screen. Overacting and over dramatic expressions ..

About Surbhi, she acts more like Anika from her previous show Ishqbaaz than Ishani..which doesnt let me connect with the character.

You summed up perfectly how I’ve been feeling! When the show first started, I loved the storytelling - the medical cases with ethical dilemmas, the character backgrounds for Sid and Ishani that showed how they became the people they are today, and the other residents. We were slowly watching Sid and Ishani develop an understanding of each other as they realized they’re both good people, just different belief systems based on their experiences in life.

Now, somehow, the entire show seems to revolve around Ishani’s heartbeat and that silly butterfly. The medical cases are non-existent (for example, what’s wrong with Nurse Phyllo’s daughter? We still don’t know 🤷🏻‍♀️) The other residents are only there to tell Sid or Ishani that they’re in love with each other. And Ishani doesn’t seem capable of focusing on anything other than Sid, to the detriment of her patients.

Don’t get me wrong, I love romance. In fact, it’s a requirement in any show that I watch. But I need it to feel realistic. I like watching the slow burn between characters, as they gradually develop their relationship and get to know each other. I feel like I just watched the evolution of a relationship of at least 3 months take place in 1 week.

Do you all think this change in the show has to do with TRPs? I wonder if the CVs felt pressure to increase the romance to bring the ratings up. Even if that’s the case, I wish they had made the romance feel more realistic, as you would between adult professionals. Right now I feel like I’m watching a teenage drama.

I still have hope for the show, though, based on how it started. I think if they slow down the romance, start spending more time on the medical cases again (while also focusing on Sid and Ishani’s relationship and the other residents), they can bring the show back on track. There’s so much potential here!

I think it's star plus involvement in story

Because they have scrapped many scenes .

To be honest this overdose of romance in medical drama won't sit well with audience.

Whatever be the pressure stick to basic concept of show.

About surbhi during first few days I felt her acting a bit loud . But now she is totally living as Ishani. I didn't find any ottness or loudness in her .what is she doing by the past 2 weeks only running away and day dreaming where is dialogue to say it loud .
