I think it's for ansuar marraige.may be ashvari feels if Anu becomes Rane bahu then even if she rembers the incident it will be easier for them to shut her up. They know that she is a family oriented person and she is won't go against her family or anything that would harm her husband or his family's reputation. If it is though I am happy that ashavari got one it shows that as is still a big hurdle in anusar marraige.

Its all for Kalyani She knows that she has three weak points Moksh , Anu and Malhar .Thats why she is using Anu to keep her please , and pretending to b a strict mom to swara for Malhar.
