Why is voting age is down to 18? How can an innocent child who can't decide his/her own fate, can decide the future of the country?

If we think an 18 year old can make an informed choice while deciding fate of country, when we think 18 year old can be held responsible for the crimes he committed and sentenced, it is perfectly reasonable to accept Mira was adult enough to take those decisions.

Let's stop blaming Shahid for "her choice".

I'm not saying Mira is some abla naari but if u think they have an equal standing in their marriage then you are a fan girl... Mira loves lime Light, she deffo has ambition n here is a hubby who is aware of it but is still worried about spending time with himself..

She is insecure of what she is to him, mother of his two kids think that she is not his priority n hubby has no clue about what she wants then I think she is right..

As of now she is a home maker and a mother. If Shahid says she is good at both how is that being an MCP? He knows she has her dreams and she will work on it. With the kind of resources and links she has..She surely can.

About spending time with oneself.. Everyone needs that. We call it 'Me' time. Husbands have hard time dividing time between work, wife, kids and parents.. Everyone thinks they aren't doing enough. None of these believe they r a priority and honestly guys themselves wouldn't know whom to give priority..Mostly it is situation based. Shahid isn’t a psycho or anything. But he sure does have a regressive mindset relative to most of the guys in his socioeconomic strata. I’m not surprised that he couldn’t maintain a relationship with any actress, Kareena, PC, or Vidya. Seems like a total controlling type.

Tbh surprised that he and Kareena lasted as long as they did. Someone in the topic drew a parallel to Saif and Kareena’s age gap. But wanna add that saif waited 5 years until Kareena felt ready for marriage, coz he didnt wanna hinder her career. Then waited 4 years until she felt ready to be a mother, although he wasn’t getting any younger.

But like someone else added, Mira isn’t any more innocent. Seems like this is the type of marriage she wanted as well. Marry famous rich husband and live luxury life.

As much as I love Shahid as an actor and a 'die-hard' fan of him, I also admit that Shahid is not really articulate when it's about speaking in the interviews. Just coz of not being articulate, he's getting bashed back and forth.

Some people actually tried to state as in Mira was a 'bechari' young girl who was compelled to get married to Shahid, which is far from the truth. The marriage was consensual and totally arranged between the two families.

"She must have had her dreams and desires but she pushed those aside."

Looking at this above line, it seems like Mira herself never spoke up about her dreams or anything to her hubby coz she was already busy enough to enjoy the limelights that she was getting after marrying Shahid. Don't criticize me for what I'm saying, coz it always has been apparent looking at her instagram, gym and other activities.

Let's not forget Mira's statement in an old interview (after giving birth to Misha), where she underestimated the working moms and compared their babies with the puppies. It always seemed that she's herself reluctant to have a career by her own. Also it always seemed like it was Mira who married Shahid just to get the privileges of what the star-wives get. She always desired for that luxurious life.

It's nothing new that Shahid had spoken up about his age gap with Mira. They might have never thought about it when they got married, but gradually they realized their similarities and differences once they started living with each other. But still they are working on their marriage and trying to understand each other rather than leaving each other. Mira may complain when Shahid is busy with his work-schedule and can't give her and their kids enough time, but it's normal between any couple. They do have their quality time anyways and Shahid comes across as a family man. Moreover Shahid is an introvert and anti-social as a person, while Mira comes up as very social and extrovert type who loves the limelight of the media. So certainly such differences made Shahid realize their places so he spoke up that way. But that doesn't make him an MCP.

These people shouldn't dissect their personal life out in the open, it just invites bashing, speculation and trolling.

I don't like Shahid, never did. But I don't think he deserves to be bashed here. Sure, he's probably regressive or whatever but he didn't impose anything on Mira. She chose all this and she is not a kid. And I don't think she's half as miserable as people are saying here.

Careers aren't all that, some people choose to focus on family and are happy (and way less stressed) doing it. And a lot of people do plan to have kids early, so they can focus on career and other things later. So what's the problem?

Shahid deserves a lot of bashing ( i do believe he is an egomaniac MCP - that's just my impression about him and i dislike him thoroughly ) and whatever he is getting here is happening on his invitation .. That being said , i cant deny the level dissection happening here is troll-worthy on its own .. 😆 .. People ( read emotionally charged irrational women ) online do get carried away some ( most of the ) times .. 😆
