@bold: I agree. Babita gets bashed profusely, whereas HS is always given the benefit of doubt. Main toh suru se yehi kehti aarahi hun 😆... Father mode or Mother mode... both need to balance the relationship... being a Parent and being husband/wife. Seems both have a lot of learning to do on this front.

As for Babita getting bashed, you do know that some of us do it because we are on her side and want her to succeed, so we get frustrated when she shoots herself in the foot?

As for him not being upfront with her, yeh bhi main pata nahin kitne hafton se bol rahi hoon, he has to stop being so over-protective of her and let her face some difficult truths from time to time instead of sugar coating topics or avoiding them altogether with her. He should stop doing this soon otherwise she won't toughen up and will remain a doll, at least in his head.

As per the head resting bit, it looked sorta weird because they went from "bindi smudged" to "selfie romance" and now this. Where is the transition? 🤔. I wouldn't fault the actors though. I feel like they are getting immense pressure from SM and the PH to show quick romance etc, so it seems both are not able to bring that out. It needs to look natural. I know they can because their "romance" before this wedding drama used to look really natural. It seems like makers are in a bit of fix, as to whether to show "implied romance" or "actual romance". They gotta decide and stick to it.

I can't believe he could actually suggest getting Khuranas in his house.. I mean it wasn't even Mini's suggestion . And I guess the hisaab of Babita not listening to him on wedding night is also equal now.. Hanuman and Mini just don't seem to realize how traumatized Babita gets due to Khuranas.. a pity really.. for people who claim Babita is their life, they are being quiet dense

I am glad she told him to his face that he didn't understand her or he wouldn't have brought this up in the first place.

Today when he patched up with Mini, he is suggesting Khuranas come and live in the Haveli.

Babita gets bashed for being in a mother mode and other times not being good mother.

But HS in father mode ignores wife is fine. Aww he is thinking about Mini. Whereas opposite is haye haye babita thinks about Mini or doesn’t think about Mini. 😉

You know why, right? Because she has yet to reach that level of maturity where she can look after more than just herself. Minnie and HS do not have that luxury but they all need to find an equilibrium together. Right now, Minnie's soon-to-be obsession with her grandparents is consuming her and I don't find that healthy at all, and HS going into overdrive with his protectiveness of Minnie won't help at all.

This is not about praising or bashing anyone. It's about acknowledging that Babita has a learning curve and she's still on the path to growth and maturity. I know some people are frustrated with her but each person learns at a different pace. 17 years vs. 7 months can be daunting. As for HS, I don't think that he's thinking only of Minnie. She's most important, but he's thinking of NB and the senior Khuranas too.

Anyway, I'm sorry I shouldn't react to your posts because you are probably pointing out your general observations about people's reactions instead of pointing at one person specifically. I just wanted to mention that I call out every single character if I disagree with their words or actions, even if it's HS. I have been pretty vocal about what he's been doing since the Imarti track, and even if I understand why he does certain things, doesn't mean I like them or agree with his approach all the time.

He always walks away from one of those back on track thanks to NB. It's a pattern with those two. He doesn't necessarily verbalize his agreement with her but tends to follow through.

If you are looking for literal or explicit signs then he never brought it up again but his conversation with Irfan made it obvious that he had no issues with helping the Khuranas from a humanitarian perspective.

This happens when divorcees with kids remarry. The kids often stay in touch with their grandparents, and if they live in the same city or neighborhood then it's inevitable. I think this is also what they're trying to show, that she doesn't need to or have to accept them as her relations, rather only as Minnie's relations.

It will take her time before she feels at ease with this.
