But the thing is, Minnie has been hurt and he knows it. I hope he does handle her with care.

I loved what he had once said to Beeji about having no objection to Minnie getting all the laad pyaar, but not at the expense of her getting spoiled.

I don't think we've seen his version of laad pyaar yet. I can't wait to see how he balances that with discipline. It's very very important as a father to be able to handle both sides, especially when Minnie has been deprived of both since childhood. The haq aspect comes in to play of course. Since the wedding he has dropped expectations and any haq on her whatsoever. I am curious to see if he will gradually pick that up again or if he will put it aside for now. For Minnie too, having to deal with his discipline is bound to cause a conflict at some point, but it's also part of their journey towards really finding each other.

But this is exactly why HS is so important to her, as are NB and Lala. They are the only ones with whom she can really be this way as a kid and still get away with it. It's important for kids to have that relationship with at least someone in their lives.

Oh I think he will try to show laad as well for sure. I’d love to see that side of him too :) But the disciplinary side is his natural personality...it will come up sooner or later. I do want them to atleast pick up some of the dynamic from before when he used to candidly speak to her and discuss her problems too. He’s aware of Mini’s sensitivity now I think and will take more care...fingers crossed.

It’s a major balancing act on many levels for him. Lol

There was already a hint of affection (mixed with some exasperation at her obsession with everything except her own self), but now when he says Queen Victoria or most gorgeous girl, the feeling is so much more profound.

They have traveled so far together! It's just awww....
