I don't think mini would say that. Remember she was so angry with babes when the ema truth came out because she thought she lied to him all these years about her parents love.

Yes most of her anger has also been because ashok left babes but somewhere she has never seen the father - ashok and never got to experience it. She had only seen ashok the father through her babes. Also ashok the husband was shown to her through babes only which she realised was a farce when the ema truth came out.

Ashok is still unclosed chapter in minis life. Babita just sent him away. She has never been able to complain to him about how he never fulfilled his father's duties. Now that babita is happy in her life and moved on with hanuman would like to see if mini actually forgives him and accepts him or wants to stay away from him because in all this he has hurt her also. She has not yet introspected about how ashok has hurt her and spoilt her childhood. It has always been about hurting her babes. And unitill she does that I dont think she is going to think of hanuman as her father. Right now she is only happy with him being her hero.

@bold totally agree, and this why I think she still has some distance to travel towards HS as her father.

Their expressions man!!HS 's eyes and that unshed tear and Mini saying yes you have accused me of something that I am completely innocent of 😒 as if both are ready to burst out at any moment and actually they did too😭

I love love LOVE the fact that the build up in this scene involved these long silent look exchanges.....they were saying so much to each other through their eyes only.....even during the video playing, he would turn to look at her....Mini was smiling in between as she saw some of those memories from the wedding day....then her smile fell again when the video ended and he turned to look at her.....that hurt came back on her face as she looked up at him......and the tears shining in his eyes as he looks at her....taking a moment to work up to the actual words of what to say......

I've always found them to be the two most equally matched characters in this show.....eye to eye....scenes like this really bring it home.

Bilkul....no one loves as toot ke as he does....actually if there is anyone else who does, it's Mini....when she loves, she loves with all her heart.

Haha maybe it's a controversial opinion given the many Imarti fans in this forum, but I agree with you.....I think his love for Mini is on another level....beyond Imarti, beyond Babita.

Woh kehte hain na....when you become a parent, love changes form.....there is no one a parent loves more in this world than their child....not even their spouse.....it's just the natural order of life.

He's not fully a parent yet.....but I think Mini instinctually brings out that love from inside him.

And for Mini, she has the love of a lot of people in her life.....but this love holds its own place even beyond her Babes.

Is there really any scenario possible where Mini accepts Ashok? 😕.....given the kind of person she is, I don't see that possibility. What Ashok did to her, how he spoke to her, treated her....I don't see any scenario where Mini can get over that.

But yes, she definitely needs to process it all and introspect about her own emotions....she hasn't done that in all this time while trying to handle Babes ke emotions only.

Mini needs closure on the Ashok front....and any forgiveness would be related to that only....forgiving Ashok to move past him....and open up to HS's love as a father.

Is this the first time that HS has ASKED Mini for a hug? I think it is....

Isse pehle, Mini has spontaneously hugged him and he's reciprocated....or he himself has pulled her into a hug to console her.....

But this is the first time that I think he held out his arms and asked that she come into them and give him a hug.

The moment just called for it....and it was a part of the larger narrative of the episode....he was inviting her into his arms, his home, his life as a part of his apology.

I think this signified a shift....HS ne haq se hug maangi....there's that all important haq back again :)

And every point after this, he was inviting her into the home, making her feel that haq over him, his home, his life again....that is why this hug was different....it felt like the starting point of a new phase for them :)

Co-incidentally, in the middle of my usual rewatch of old epis.....I happened to come across this episode yesterday when HS-Mini have a big blow up over Babes ki supervisor job.....and Mini demands that he apologize to Babita.

Initially he gives attitude....lol but baad mein he comes to apologize ITNA sweetly, ki bas dil bhar aaye.....I remember feeling so moved by this scene when I first watched it too...the way HS explains that it isn't easy for him to say sorry but Mini ne khari baat boli....aur yeh jab khari bolti hai, toh hi jachta hai....lol aww......Aniruddh was phenomenal in this one as well.

I especially loved this bit when Mini apologizes to him but he instantly takes her hands in his and pats them to make her stop and says, "It's ok"....the whole bit, he doesn't look into her eyes and his own eyes are shining with tears......AMAZING acting.
