This old Bollywood studio is up to its old tricks yet again. For its upcoming action thriller starring two heroes, it has asked theatre-owners to hike the ticket prices from 22 per cent to 40 per cent. Those who won’t follow the diktat will not get to release the film at all. While most (fearing isolation) have agreed, some have dug in their heels and decided to give maximum shows to a South Indian historical drama. The last time this studio had compelled theatre-owners to jack up the ticket prices, their festival release fizzled out even before the weekend was over.

Thugs of hindustan amir khan and yash raj thought let's fool everything but no honey we ain't gonna let that happen.

Upar se there's sort of a mandi now. People refusing to splurge. Onions are high priced. No sale in festive season. Itna overconfidence nahi hona chaiye.

There is a good chance that War will be a bad movie if this news is true. Everytime they hike the price their film ends up being bad. YRF has so much money but such terrible talent pool. Not a single decent movie yet for all the money they spent.

By same logic, every EDX release shud be bad. Sanju, Avengers and Bahubali shud hv been bad.

War is one of the most anticipated films of the year and it makes sense to increase the ticket price by a nominal amount.

Looks like AA films and Khans r just worried abt the ticket price increase that despite trying to sabotage Hrithik film using Telugu release, the film may still get a record opening. So many people earn their living by maintaining the status quo and sabotaging films of Hindu Bollywood rivals. This blind is proof of their true intentions.

But YRF haven't delivered for the price they charged unlike others. Obviously one will sceptical regarding them and their demands. Komal Nahta also reported about this a month back. And I don't buy the conspiracy theory of everybody trying to sabotage Hrithik's movie because he is a hindu.

kuch bhi, YRF is the one against whom the complain is about, Hrithik is no longer a threat to anyone big.
