When the dam bursts

LOL finally the dam bursts for HS today😆

But I have to laugh first at all the fantasies he was spinning about Honeymoon😆.....bhai kaunse lala land mein ghoom raha tha yeh that he thought the same Babita who has shunned him, doesn't even want to share a room with him is gonna jump at the chance to go on a trip? 😆.....Kuch bhi....hadh hoti hai determined optimism ki bhi😆.....typical male reaction.....lol.....but it was nice to see the Police Station and HS-Lala in their element after many days.

HS-Mini ke little nuances still make for the best moments....the bit when he walked in and with a smile, asked her what she's doing.....but Mini instead of talking to him one on one, instantly called for Babita to join them.....she smiles back at him but she doesn't light up like she used to.....you can see the weariness in her eyes.....aww Mini bacche🤗.....the burden of trying to get HB to communicate weighs heavy on her.

Phir phoda Babita ne bomb.....lol@ HS initially being all happy seeing Babita having happily packed for the trip....and his face falling when she asks Mini to pack as well😆

The argument itself.....for the FIRST time, Babita tried to keep something between her and HS private.....and ironically it had to be an argument itself....she didn't feel the need to close the door for any other reason....but she did it for this.....lol she wanted to shield her child from the argument b/w her and HS....that she even managed to sense that HS was upset seemed like a miracle given her obtuseness....lol I guess him walking away without a word was enough of a clue for her? Perception win, Babita👏😆

Finally HS stopped beating around the bush and told her he isn't happy with her behavior....the argument built up in a pretty realistic fashion....pent up resentments coming to the fore....accusations flying.....the initial part of the argument when HS bluntly told her that he doesn't want anyone else to come b/w them was probably a poor choice of words in the heat of the moment....definitely pinched to hear him talk of Mini as a "teesra"....and I think it may have hit Mini a bit too, regardless.

But the argument really got to the crux of the matter when HS bluntly told Babita that it's not his or Mini's fault, it's all Babita's fault that the situation has come to this point.....thankfully he burst out with every scenario that he's been letting slide till now.....I was glad to see him bring up how much Babita is embarrassing her grown daughter by dragging her in b/w them forcibly and going off to sleep with her every night......and then he took it up another notch by finally stating the obvious.....ki agar yehi sab hona tha toh he'd also have re-thought his decision to get married....lol....isse achha toh shaadi se pehle the sab.

Sab bhadaas nikaal li HS ne....good....lol better than keeping it inside and putting up fake smiles.

Babita though....tch tch.....as usual, she's muddled up the issue for herself....while it's obvious that she isn't being able to adjust to a life where everything doesn't revolve only around being with Mini 24/7....it's also obvious that she's using this as an excuse to hide other things going on in her mind....she talked of Kammo's point but Kammo kya raat ko aake dekhegi ki Babita Mini ke saath time spend kar rahi hai to prove herself an attentive mother? lol so why does she avoid sharing the room with HS? Clearly, the issue is bigger than this and Mini tried to explain some of that to Babita too. In this defensive childishness, Babita has managed to worsen the delicate balance of relationships rather than being the one to hold them all together.

Precap seems like Mini will be the one stepping up yet again to cajole HS to go talk to Babita.....lol humara weary baccha....she needs a hug. The adults have managed to make a total mess of this. But looks like a good HS-Mini scene tomorrow.....looking forward to it :)

Another good episode. Absolutly loved the way mini tried to explain things to babita and HS ne bhi sach hi bola. Am glad nikaal diya usne jo bhi uske mann main jamah hota jaa raha tha. His hurt is so palpable in the precap as well and that scene looks super promising with mini probably asking him about his behavior too. I am very excited for that . Poor guy was so excited for honeymoon babita ne sabpe kya paani phenka uske dil ke armaan ansoo main beh gaye😆 but about time both of these guys gave some dose to babita she needed to hear it clearly caz dabbi dabbi isharon isharon main signals toh usse samjh hi nahi aa rahe. And what dumbness ke kammo kya bolegi bhai woh toh tum nibhao ya todo toh bhi usne and zamaane walon ne bakwaas hi karni hai better to enjoy life babita.

They set it up just to show that he will be disappointed badly....lol otherwise it doesn't make sense why he'd be that excited.

Precap does look interesting....his hurt is showing clearly again and the important question is at the forefront finally.....why did Babita really marry him? And why did he marry her? They both need to clearly state those expectations to each other.

Mini looks really exhausted though....as usual in dono ki fights sambhaalne mein she's drained out....I wonder if the writers will still follow up on this and show HB feeling guilty about having neglected Mini while trying to manage their own emotions for this shaadi.

Is sab mein waise woh point bhi side pe reh gaya ki mother-daughter did neglect HS in the lead up to the wedding....now HS himself has mishandled the situation to some extent toh I don't know if he will get around to raising that point with them.

I sense some undertones b/w him and Mini but Babita ka mess is so big that I guess woh point abhi nahin aayega.

One thing worth noting in the Mini-Babita convo.....the way Babita was quick to victimize herself and blame HS....sulking over the fact that he shouted at her rather than acknowledging any of the part she played in building to this situation.

Mini talked her out of that state of mind again but I felt as tired as Mini while watching that scene.....lol.....one really begins to wonder after a point if there is any help for this mindset.

Babita is babita, itna irritate karti hai, par uski harkaton se jyada der gussa nahi raha ja sakta. She does not want to behave but still does, thinking abt others all the time. I hope she changes are behaviour, otherwise she will never be able to enjoy life inspite of having a super duper hubby like hs and the most understanding and sweetest daughter like mini. Inspite if hs saying it was better if i did not marry, babita reaction of jusy saying tch tch was so funny, samajhti hi nahi yeh cartoon😆. Paridhi is superb yaar, she is fully into the character of babita ke lagta hi nahi she once played the fiery and brave princess jodha .

Hs made me laugh through out with lala. As certainly a comic relief before the dam broke.

Precap seems superb. Poor guy was crying. I hope that mini and hs become really very close more than a real baap beti ever could be. They understand each other so well. They deserve each other yaar.

@bold: LOL this reminds me.....when he left to go drop off Poonam, that small wave he did to say bye to Babita....itna daraa sehma sa bye😆.....and police station pahunchte pahunchte suddenly tiger ban gaya dying to go on honeymoon😕😆

Writers push the limits with Babita a lot....usko dekh ke kisi ko bhi depression ho jaaye after a point.....lol.....sach mein one wonders if such a person can ever be happy in life.....she is so absorbed in her defensiveness that she is barely able to value the good things she has in life.....a daughter who is so willing to put her own hurt aside to handle her mother.....and a husband who still shows a lot of patience with her.

Re: precap.....I'm amazed at the extra level of maturity that has crept into Mini.....abhi bhi kitne achhe se, samajhdaari se sambhaal rahi hai dono H and B ko.....ideally I wish HS had been able to step up but I guess he too is off balance thanks to Babita.

@bold...did you notice how he put his sunglasses on 😆...Aniruddh really manages that superbly, that swag with which he does it but does not forget incorporating HS's peculiar funny style 😆

Yes I did😆.....he's always cute with the Thaanedaar swag mannerisms.....Aniruddh has definitely poured a lot into giving HS all these distinct mannerisms.

Yes, it could have turned out into a caricature of so many police characters that we have seen on screen but its not!! HS has that peculiar swag but none of the other superficial traits, its like you will automatically giggle seeing his antiques but when he is serious and means business, he is damn good at it too!!
