I think this incident was important for Minnie to witness because she needs to understand that couples fighting, especially her parents, doesn't mean the relationship is over or that they don't love each other.

She also realizes that HS might have Babita's best interests at heart and not want to hurt her, but fights are inevitable. He can only control his temper and bare it for so long.

Mini witnessing the fight was not the problem. Him calling her “teesra” was his mishandling of the situation in his temper.

He too has made mistakes. He’s not a saint in all this above criticism.

When I saw all those awww scenes between HS and Minnie, back to back, I knew that some siyappa was gonna happen. Too much of a good thing. LOL!
