When you get past the ridiculous bluff that kakana is offered every single role in the industry first, and when she refuses then film makers settle for others, you go on reading and find this illiterate dolt preaching about how the film industry is practicing unfairness by giving roles to younger actresses, who have to be in make-up, when they should go to mature actresses who would by obvious reasons do them naturally.

This is just so "special" coming from a woman who just went to get a latex prosthetics for her entire face and an entire body pad that will alter her shape, for her next film!

Words like hypocrisy, dishonesty and falsehood are lost and give way to repugnance and contempt.

The Kangolis should be put to good use as a morale booster for others an as examples of what NOT to be, and how to feel superior to a toxic subspecies like them.

Edit: Oh my god.. I just checked and it really was Eddie Murphy? I didn't realise that at all. Apparently with the help of makeup, he completely transformed his looks. This is incredible.

There is a minor difference, Jaya shows the story of Jayalalitha until she becomes the CM, which she did at around 43 years of age in 1991 . The movie shows her journey from a young movie star to her becoming the CM. It does not go beyond that.

Kangana is playing Jaya at 20's to 43 years which is closer to her age both ways.

here the story itself is about the achievement of 2 elderly who became famous for their rifle shooting. Their journey starts at 60.

Also Neena Gupta questioned it first, she said, why can't they cast her or at least consider her for roles that require someone her age.

It is an issue that needs to be asked, why weren't they considered , why are heroines stamped with an expiry date after which they can only play mother, sister, character roles.

why can't they play lead roles , why the age discrimination at all, if male stars esp 50 plus can play a variety of roles ranging from young to old, shouldn't the same option given to the female stars 50 plus as well.

Why only age? What about language, ethnicity and various other factors like color, disabilities etc? Neena Gupta questioned about the age...Tomorrow another south Indian actress will question employing a north Indian for a south Indian role- infact its already a raging debate in south India about how the north Indians imports have been taking away their jobs....If you support one you ought to support the other as well...Can't pick and choose - again this is not just about Kangana!

Had this been a HW movie...two 65 year olds would have done this movie and probably would have gone to win an Oscar too....no wonder PC ran away to HW....actresses don't have a shelf life over there.🤔
