HS is more than willing to take away Babes' responsibility from Minnie but it's Babes who's being a tad bit obsessive about her daughter. 🤔 If she keeps running away from HS, then there's not much that he can do except get mad at her like he did today. At the end of the day, Babes herself has to be willing to share her worries and complaints with HS rather than take them to Minnie.

It sucks that Minnie can't take her worries to Babita, but Babes has shown that she doesn't have the maturity to handle the situations aptly. It's HS who can guide her, and help her out. Even though they're having their own issue, HS knows that Minnie needs to create an identity outside of Babes. It was evident today when he pointed out that she still has a whole life ahead of her that she needs to live. But Minnie can't do that if Babita keeps suffocating her.

I completely agree. Babita is the root of the issue just as HS told her today. Minnie repeated his words but with a lot more politeness. It’s actually quite sad that Minnie has had to mature as a result of her mother’s immaturity. In real life relationships like this lead to a lot of resentment and dormant anger. Minnie only has her mother now and because she’s so young she’s willing to cater to Babes within a limit. But this can’t go on forever and HS was completely right in saying that.

Exactly! And he’s already told her he’s willing to wait. Just because you go somewhere together doesn’t mean it has to lead to something else. Just enjoy each other’s company and presence. Babita has never been a wife and she doesn’t know how to be one. I think she’s afraid of her own incompetency when it comes to this relationship but you’ll never know until you try.

Prior to the marriage, Minnie was all about keeping Babes and making sure she always comes first. But post marriage, she's just absolutely tired. She doesn't want to take care of her anymore. Minnie has already done SO much for her, now it's Babes' turn to do something for herself. Minnie can't live her life for her, especially not her marriage. It's not right or fair to her.

Exactly! Ash has done such a good job of displaying just how tired Minnie has become. She’s so much quieter than before, she’s more hesitant to speak up and she lets the couple hash it out without her need to fix or interfere. She’s so absolutely done. She’s done her part. They’re the adults and they have to figure out how to make their own relationship work first. Integrating Minnie can only work if they’ve fixed or are working on their own issues.

Yeahh, but I think she's getting too caught up in the title of a wife. The least she could have done was treated him with civility on their wedding night, and then as a friend the day after. And now this whole honeymoon thing was just another level of unbelievable. Just be a good friend first. Then work your way up to building that complete trust, faith, love, ya jo bhi.

And conflict arises in every relationship but we need to understand our own boundaries. She’s trying so hard to ensure everyone is happy that she’s losing sight of the fact that she won’t be there forever.

Babita is continuing to hide behind Minnie as an excuse and it makes Minnie even more embarrassed and feel worthless. It’s such a toxic cycle to a relationship that hasn’t always been this down in the dirt in a while. Minnie needs to look her mother in the eyes and say that she’s not her keeper. She’s given Babita her wings, but it’s up to Babita to figure out how to fly.

This is a 17 year old child. She’s not super woman. She has college and desires of her own and a life outside of this home but she can’t focus on any of that because once again Minnie has to protect Babita from herself.

It was heartening to see that even in all that anger and frustration, he was thinking about Minnie's needs and without saying it directly, he was prioritizing her needs and emotional state as a father would.

And this is what made her realize that HS still knows and understands her. It might be what prompts her to go talk to him outside.

HS is seeing the warning signs already as a parent.
