The ONLY person that Karan has ever confessed his love about Preeta to was incidentally PRITHVI. Karan did so only during Rishabh and Sherlyn's wedding. However, even then Karan said something along the lines of 'Yes, I want her (Preeta) and I also know that Preeta ji wants me as well.' 1) The reason for Karan's primary hatred for Preeta is probably the most stupidest reason in the history of stupid reasons. Karan holds Preeta responsible for ruining Rishabh's life, because Karan believes (because of fake photos presented by his detective who was bribed by Sherlyn) that Preeta took money from Sherlyn.

If this is the case how come Rishabh is still a gentleman to Preeta? Shouldn't he hold a grudge?

2) Secondly, Karan also believes that Preeta is the reason for Mahesh's accident. (Again other stupid shit he and his entire family believed because Sherlyn said it)

Also since when did Sherlyn who Preeta and Karan were trying to expose become the sach ki murat? When compared to Preeta? 😲

That's because rishabh finds it hard to think ill for preeta. Even after preeta supporting prithvi in jail, he was still concerned thinking preeta is innocently believing and agreeing to marry prithvi who is a criminal.

It's hard for me to see karan as the ultimate lover and perfect guy for preeta as opposed to rishabh for a number of reason such as for one, the main foundation for karan's friendship with preeta was preeta helping karan to save rishabh from marrying sherlin and exposing sherlin, otherwise neither did he trust her or respect her before he got to know preeta was telling the truth about sherlin being evil. He blindly believed the allegations against preeta, such as those photos and sherlin convincing him that preeta was behind mahesh's accident just because he was so frustrated by rishabh's marriage to sherlin having happened that he found it more easy to just distrust preeta rather than question whether he was right to accuse or distrust preeta or think why is he believing sherlin because he was angry about the rishabh-sherlin marriage happening, but also that he thinks it is justified to humiliate and ruin preeta's life.

Then you have rishabh on the other hand who always trusted and respected preeta from the beginning because he loves her and because he saw her as an honest and trustworthy person, also right now in the current situation doesn't really outright show distrust in preeta like karan does but he is also unable to believe her at the moment yet unlike karan, rishabh still has concern, love and respect for her. There's so much of a difference in how both brothers treat and view her that it is hard for me to see karan as perfect for preeta out of both brothers. Sorry to any preeran fans, but personally I like preeta with both brothers in terms of chemistry and looking good with them, but actually prefer rishabh for preeta as a life partner. Rishabh in reality is actually the ideal man for any woman as he is responsible, respectful, sensitive to people's emotions, mature, loyal and also a good family-oriented man.

@rickks- Up until this point, the makers HAVEN'T shown Rishabh having any actual grudges against Preeta. In fact he has been not just polite, but very respectful and concerned about Preeta and her future. HOWEVER, all this can change. I mean the makers have also indicated that Rishabh is going to trust Sherlyn from this point onwards and support her. Although, I don't want to assume anything, but Preeta who is (obviously, by hook or crook) coming to Luthra house, will reignite her rivalry with Sherlyn somehow..... and Rishabh will probably support Sherlyn (as in NOT actively plot with Sherlyn, but support her in general, for eg: against an allegation made by Preeta or sth)

The second point is probably THE MOST baffling bit of plot point in the history of plot points, because if you REALLY think about it The primary reason for Karan's 'distrust' over Preeta was because she took money from 'Sherlyn', then HOW COME Karan is 'trusting' Sherlyn when she is narrating bullshit stories?!?!

No girl deserves to be treated so badly. Period.

But my problem with this show is how depressing and frustrating it has become lately. And honestly who cares about Preeta and Karan? Preeta is literally the dumbest and weakest female lead. Karan is a typical EK lead, an arrogant asshole. Their love story is such a cliche. Nothing new. Good female protagonist falls for the bad boy male protagonist.

Now Sarla drama will start. I hope Preeta is the one who teaches Karan a lesson instead of standing behind Sarla and crying.

At this point I would rather watch a love triangle between Rishabh, Srishti and Sammy. These are the only characters left who don't annoy me these days.

But no. Makers are going to shove a love triangle between Preeta, Karan and that new girl (whose name I don't even remember) down our throats. 🤪
