Is this the kind of man a girl like preeta deserves?

I'm sorry but officially I hate karan. I felt so much disgust at him today. So that was his plan? Marry her and leave her to ruin her life and dream of marriage? 🤬 Its officially proved that rishabh is the better man. He's spineless and too much of a coward to speak his feelings, but at least he has common decency to not mock a person's emotions, play with a person's life or be deceitful. Why on earth are such male characters like karan painted to be the ultimate and perfect lover/ soulmate in indian serials? Why? This is horrendous. My heart broke for preeta and more than her I felt more hurt thinking how karan went from caring about her pain to causing and relishing her pain. This is not the karan I thought was cool and loved watching. I mean intentionally, as per his words in precap, creating a situation in her life where she cannot call her maayka or sasural her home is disgusting. I honestly can't believe I had the heart to watch the entire episode. Now I will stick to written epis for now.

Yes! Even though I feel preeta deserves rishabh more and that rishabh is a better husband material, I know that preeran are the main couple here and soulmates, so at least for the sake of that karan needs to be shown realising what he has done is sooooooo utterly despicable and wrong and for him to correct his mistake to whatever degree he is able to. Just at this point I can't stomach what they have done to karan's character. I would have been less disgusted in him if he took her home then on the wedding night dropped the bomb on her that she has entered into a loveless marriage filled with hate, but this... this what he chose to do instead is something I find unforgivable. You can't just marry someone then dump them as soon as the person is tied to you by marriage for revenge. Its morally wrong and heinous.

Preeta don’t deserve this disrespect n revenge hate from a person like Karan

He was her friend n she has done a lot for him n his family

Just becoz she was not able to stop Sherlin n Rishab marriage n she supported Prithvi thinking he is innocent Karan is going to his heights of hate crossing his every limit

Karan has forgot everything Preeta has done for him

How disrespectful is this leaving her in middle of the road

Karan needs to realise is mistakes n

This is what I don't understand, why are certain people sooooooooooo 'shocked' by this?! Karan Luthra hamesha se hi exactly yehi character tha. SURE he has saved PREETA from a LOT of gundas, but SO WHAT?! Karan was always 'clearly shown' as classist, arrogant, narcissistic and was ALWAYS a certified chauvanist!! Aur usse bhi badi baat he is CRAZY!?

The point I believe a lot of viewers are missing is the fact that the FOUNDATION of Karan and Preeta's friendship is/was 'SAVING RISHABH FROM SHERLYN'!!! Once the very foundation of that friendship broke all there remained was a lot of distrust and misunderstanding.

I know people will come here and also say that Karan and Preeta's friendship is MORE than just Sherlyn's pardafash and it had come a long way away from it, and they have gone through a lot of other things together!!! I KNOW THAT! I am NOT saying that there friendship wasn't more than just pardafash!! HOWEVER, we have to remember as audiences that post a certain point (I am going to say Preeta's engagement) ALL EMOTIONS IN THE SHOW remained 'stagnant' (as in NOTHING MOVED FORWARD EMOTIONALLY). Considering the show was essentially 'dragging' the Punnu/Baby plot for as long as possible. Rishabh continued to pine for Preeta without ever confessing his feelings, Karan and Preeta stayed on the 'VERGE' of falling in love without 'actually' falling.

So the point that I was trying to make was that Karan Luthra who is being an absolute dimwit right now, was always exactly so, it is because of the dragging and plot stagnation that certain viewers assumed otherwise.

Dude I’ve never seen a FL humiliated to this extent in recent times. It was so difficult to watch and makes me sick at Karan. really disappointing.

Just curious.... Why did Karan do what he did... Why did he leave Pretty stranded? And what's the betrayal he's talking about.... I watch the show on and off... I knew Preeta's wedding track is going on and that Karan will marry her but didn't he love her... I mean why so much hatred? What did Preeta do to him or his family?

The ONLY person that Karan has ever confessed his love about Preeta to was incidentally PRITHVI. Karan did so only during Rishabh and Sherlyn's wedding. However, even then Karan said something along the lines of 'Yes, I want her (Preeta) and I also know that Preeta ji wants me as well.' Therefore, other than at his own wedding where Karan proposed in front of the entire Arora family and ofcource Preeta (which was essentially a deceit). Karan's love for Preeta AT THIS STAGE in a matter of factual judgement absolutely questionable.

1) The reason for Karan's primary hatred for Preeta is probably the most stupidest reason in the history of stupid reasons. Karan holds Preeta responsible for ruining Rishabh's life, because Karan believes (because of fake photos presented by his detective who was bribed by Sherlyn) that Preeta took money from Sherlyn.

2) Secondly, Karan also believes that Preeta is the reason for Mahesh's accident. (Again other stupid shit he and his entire family believed because Sherlyn said it)

3) Last but certainly no the least, and probably the most reasonable reason for his hatred towards Preeta is because she essentially proved Prithvi innocent when Rishabh brought Prithvi to jail, after Mahesh uncle (who is in coma) told Rishabh that Prithvi was responsible for his accident.
