maybe this is another part that is missing. we have never seen mini talk about her papaji. what if she is scared that if she accepts HS as her father openly and out loud he will also be snatched from her? it may be irrational, but for a child who has never gotten a fathers love and when the father came he brought a storm?

i feel she has accepted him as a father, though she has not said it. and i think even HS knows she has accepted him as father, but right now his fears are playing with him

You have wrong timeline.

Babita and Ashok were married for 17 years.

Meeta and Ashok were in relationship for 10 years. First 3 years Meeta didn’t know about Babita and Mini. She got to know afterwards. She wasn’t strong emotionally so she couldn’t leave Ashok. And they continued for 7 more years before coming to India and breaking it to everyone.

So Babita and Ashok did have married life for first 7 years. Now we don’t know how it was. Babita May have been ingrossed in her motherly duty and bahu duties to give time to Ashok whenecer he came home. She was young and she wasn’t mature. Plus away from her husband. So it’s understandable. Also she was under lot of pressure to be this good bahu. So might have acted accordingly.

I will still say Ashok takes a bigger share of blame coz he fell out of love with Babita and hide that from her for 10 years. That is a bigger dhoka than small mistakes Babita might have done or not.

And one more thing I found weird that. She was forcing Minni and HS... Humesha Minni he kandhe bandook kyun rakhti hai yaar... Ki Minni hai to I will do... I mean does she wants to show that though she get married her husband is the father of her daughter.. Matlab kya yeh dono ab kabhi lad bhi nahi sake kya... It's fine if she wants to stay with Minnie, HS would never stop her. She could have said it in a nice way instead of being so aggressive. She didn't even listen to what he had to say.

The way she locked the door, as if to shut Minnie and her in her own world. She is having trouble letting go of her past, and of her role as only a mother. It will take time but she can't use Minnie as a crutch - it will create more misunderstandings in the family.

maybe not. but its the situations. seeing HS dounting mini probably triggered her fears. her fears that again mini and thus a part of babita will be left behind.

i am not justofying her actions, but im not saying she is completely wrong either.

all 3 of them are in insecurity mode right now. and all 3 of them are jumping on their first instincts.

Thats the whole point.. I mean, they got married in a weird state... ideally speaking, since Hanuman loves Mini so much, he shouldn't be thinking about the sindoor or that he and Babita should talk about them.. He should be thinking about the chaos that has erupted in their house.. I found the scene quite weird to be honest.. I understand his feelings but no.. Babita's laying down rules did not seem out of place.. it was Hanuman's talks which seemed out of place given the circumstances...

Yes.. Babita should have tried to listen to him but honestly that would not have made much of a difference.. Her rudeness was uncalled for though

See I understand her trauma.. She have seen hell. At this tender age.. Bit if she has accepted him as her father then she have to show him in action... But that was not at all visible anywhere... Then this CD fiasco which added fuel for the fire...

That why I am saying HS and Minni need to talk...

@Bold - why shouldnt you test your love? why shouldnt you want assurance that the person whom you love will always love you back? in real life dont we ask our partner what you can do for me? is it so wrong if babita asked the same question, though in a bit twisted way that it hurt HS, but the question was not wrong. specially for someone who has been hurt so badly by her husband, it is very natural to want reassurance at all time, particularly in the begining.

and why should a woman not make sure that the man she is marrying, will love her child as well. babita never questioned HS love for mini. his insecurities which arose because he did not talk to mini, (from the way mini behaved, it was pretty clear from her end that HS is a part of her family, maybe not as dad right now, but still a fatherly figure) made the mother question the man she married. any mother would. heck if a biological father doubted his child in such a manner, even a biological mom would question the man she married - maybe not so abruptly but still she would.

Well, I am waiting for the day when HS will ask Babita this question. Or perhaps he doesn't need to, he already gets it.
