I really hope they do not do that ...the whole premise of PBS will fall down ....the serial started on a different note ...by showing a love story then a love marriage they made it a happy encouraging story...it makes ppl hopeful that u do not need to compromise always just because of your circumstances...u can fall in love when the person is right ...but by now agn pointed out to a failed marriage and spoiling relations including the father daughter one they are doing a ‘undo’ ....they are spoiling their own story ...and m hoping they do not do that

• HS always had insecurities regarding his fatherly status in Minnie's life
• Moments before the wedding, Naeem Bi questions him as to how much he really knows Minnie
• Minnie makes the speech wherein she shares her fear that she's going to lose Babes
• HS is tacked onto that speech as an afterthought
• The CD plays and the statements that Minnie uses are a horrible match; it gives the impression that she hasn't gotten over Ashok
• Khatri makes the fatherly comparisons by calling HS a duplicate; or in other words, will never be the original / real deal; he'll always be a pale imitation (which we know is not true)
• all this is circling around, and he jumps to how Minnie initially didn't want him to be with Babes and then he just keeps thinking of more moments that were in the same vei don't know if there's anything there but that's all I can think of. 🤔

I don't know if I am making sense.Just venting out my emotions. HS troubled eyes piercing my heart since yesterday.

Super like your post. I feel because the CVs have written such a matured beyond years character for Minnie that people forget that she is just 17 years old. Mot kids her age are brash, sullen, rude, self-absorbed brats with no interest in naything other than their friends. And here this girl is thrown in a the deep end of life, without any genuine support system and yet she manged to survive and give her mom a new leash of life. She is now at a crossroad where she is beset with fears and anxieties. Maybe it was that fear of unknown that made her slip up during the speech. Was it wrong? Of course. Was it such a heinous, unforgivable mistake that she can't be given the benefit of doubt that she slipped up because of the enormity of the situation and being overwhelmed. Again .. she is 17. Still akid. The other two characters are double her age or more. If those people's actions can be explained away so glibly why crucify her for what seems like a genuine mistake. Did she do it maliciously? No.

I also think the fault falls with the CVs this once. The way the entire episode yesterday was shown, they wanted to almost force viewers to feel for Minnie.

That is not the way to go. This is something they themselves have proven so many times before.

We don't need so many scenes of Minnie to understand that something is wrong with her. They could've balanced all this hurt from all three parties and people would've gladly felt for all three.

HS, on the other hand, has not been explained at all. His hurt, this thoughts, him just going with the flow and completing this wedding hasn't been explained as well as it could've been. I'm hoping for an HS-Lala scene soon to understand his turmoil better.

A few small missteps are now become so big as to come in between the Hannie relationship which was one of the most beautiful things to come out of this show.

U are right and honestly m happy to read a different post..or else what ever happens ppl feel HS is right...I was to point this out but just felt no use reading the posts.....I am not blaming HS ...he has a right to feel bad but for me the serial is going a very different path..HS who trusted Minnie the most...HS Mini’s bond which was the best...Minnie who was the reason for the wedding ...she made it happen...Mini who was the one who stood for HS everytime and specially during Imarti episode...HS who loved Mini far more than anyone else ...like the daughter he never really had...to show him not trust her itself is a joke..a stupid CD incident and he started blaming Mini..is this really happening or thn finally they happened to remember that it is a drama which needs unnecessary twists and turns ...I felt bad that hS was shown accusing Mini when he shud have stood by her...why are the makers ruining the story ...they can’t break the base itself ...it is very unrealistic as this is the bond v wanted to see and which they have been able to keep till now..no matter what they should not have ruined it like this...there is no subtle proof that Mini did things on purpose nor any past incident that she will behave this way nor is the bond between the two weak then why the accusation...no context and just out of question...I wanted to write this then itself but I was surprised to see the posts...people are in love with HS to an extent where they are not seeing his flaws or then are clearly ignoring ...ideally expected ppl to react so that we get to see the bond we deserve to see and what these three deserve to get...but instead the makers ruined it..and when I saw the posts realised that whatever happens no one will feel it is wrong..in the past also there have been things like this where Babita has been shown bad for no reason where HS has behaved badly ...but every time I only see support for his behaviour ...it is fine as I understand ppl love him and maybe they are seeing only the positive side ...and positive in negative aswell...but instead y not ask yourself what is really right and whether what they are showing is justified....if we do not say that we don’t find any thing worth while in what is being shown ...this will go on same path and in future they will show misunderstandings hatred ....whereas honestly I want to see love peace...a happy family...I want to see something which gives courage to every divorcee out there ....as good things do happen....is it necessary to show everything bad...first Kammo suddenly started behaving badly...is there any reason why Kammo suddenly started feeling that Babita HS were always a couple or then whatever she said ....then Biji who was so supportive suddenly feels Babita is wrong...and to end it all even Mini is shown bad and surprisingly HS feels she did things on purpose ...is it believable even one bit that Mini purposely inserted this CD...how can HS evn feel so....how can makers show it and make fun of the bond they themselves cherished for so long...tomorrow I won’t be surprised if they show HS disowning Mini...the way it is going they can show anything...and if we do not want that to happen we have to say it when it is shown wrongly...not support...I hope all good is shown in next episodes ...I really do not want to see unnecessary misunderstandings and no relation should be spoilt to simply show something useless......there are many others outside the family already doing lots ...everything good has suddenly become bad now please spare the family makers...do not forget ppl watching out there should be encouraged to go for such marriages as they are successful...even a step father can be a great parent to his step child...trust is the most important part there ....so just like a father wud never feel his child will do something so grave...no matter what HS also should not as he is not less than a real father....HS shud have trusted Mini...hope they do not continue showing this in future..hope they just show this as a misunderstanding and move ahead in a positive way...

@bold: Even I feel the changes in the characters have been too abrupt to truly be acceptable. These issues could've taken a little while to develop.

People are sometimes like chameleons, always changing colour. But everybody suddenly did a 180 twist with the wedding. Not everybody can be flipping sides so easily, na.

Biji-Kammo had turned a new leaf and while I had inhibitions about Biji, Kammo seemed to have truly accepted Babita and HS as her people.

I understand CVs wanting to show that marriage isn't a 'laddoo', but now I'm even seeing that people don't really change for the good... Which is sad.

And for HS-Mini, this issue runs much deeper than a CD misunderstanding, but if they don't show anything, what are we supposed to understand?

Expectations always lead to problems in any relation and it seems to be the case here too. I do believe soon we'll get to see a beautiful Hannie conversation addressing every issue they have with each other.

But how am I to believe that it'll have any effect in the long run if the post-appendicitis conversation was disregarded so easily. HS still harbours hurt and is still scared because of that one fight, despite the apology and the in-depth conversation.

Agree about your point that Minnie has fooled her father too. This is exactly what NB was referring to when she asked HS how much he really understood Minnie, to which his response was that she was brave, strong, etc. There's a whole side to her that he hasn't seen.

I don't think he accused her of planting that CD or that he genuinely did not trust her, because if that is the case then it is wrong. He asked her how it got there but did not pursue that line of questioning, so I am assuming his doubts were cleared. Let's see. But his feeling hurt was based on the realization (or so he thinks) that she doesn't want him, and I think he is right to feel that way based on the information he currently has. In future, when he finds out the truth - and I really hope this time Khatri is caught - then he needs to take a step back and assess why he was so quick to think Minnie was the one to do this, rather than ask Babita why she still held on to that CD.

@bold: Personally, and I may be completely off target, the CD could have been a slap in the face reminder of Ashok. The more I think about it, the more I feel inclined toward this reasoning.

HS has seen Minnie fighting Ashok tooth and nail for her mother. She has dropped his surname because of how he betrayed her mother.

But, he has also seen her break down after the drug peddling case. He has seen her emotions after Ashok was handed over flight tickets. While Babita was shown free of Ashok, there was no such moment for Minnie where she let go of her papaji.

She will never hurt her mother, but she can hurt anyone else for her mother (which isn't just HS but can also be interpreted as Ashok).

HS doesn't know details about her childhood. He could have assumed that Minnie still harbours feelings for her biological father while that is far from the case. The speech while the CD played in the background is a huge point in favour of this.

And if he feels this, what space is left for him, which mould does he fit in in her life? He's been left even more estranged from her after this wedding than he was before it, despite Minnie being a huge reason behind rushing into it.

As for whether it was an accusation, or something else, I hope we get to see what's running through HS' mind and his emotions are explained to the viewers.

The main flaw during the ego track was not showing us Babita's POV. I don't want the same mistake repeated again.

Edit: I forgot to mention, HS wondering whether Minnie actually wanted the wedding to happen was below the belt for me. Minnie has shown absolutely no inclination towards this.

Even if she hasn't yet been ready to accept HS as a father in her life completely, she has not shown anywhere that she doesn't want Hanita to marry.

Pls PB makers dont compromise your storytelling skills for ekta drama. We PB fans dont watch OTT shows for the same and became fans of PB for its real take on emotions. Seriously we are all wanting to see the good side ...failed marriages and issues are known ...nothing new to be shown ...what is required is the positive side of it...something which makes u feel that a divorcee can go for love marriage...and a father child bond is formed in such marriages which is much more than an actual father child bond...also ppl around can accept such relations...not that everyone goes against u...earlier BG Dadu supported Babita...they felt HS will not only be a loving husband but also a wonderful father...suddenly Same BG feels this relation does not make sense as someone else says so ..why so...Is she not capable of thinking...why this was required to be shown....why Kammo had to change...suddenly she feels her husband was right...hope they do not continue showing this....

But I do blame Hanuman Singh .

I never expected that one CD and Hanuman will stop trusting Mini!!

This is exactly how for the sake of drama and continuation of the serial, CVs ruin characters .

Mini has not divorced from her father . No matter what, your biological parents are your biological parents and they are engraved into each cell of your body in the form of DNA .

Mini does not owe any explanation to Hanuman Uncle even had she still loved her father .

But Babita does.

Whom Hanuman should not trust is Babita who has still kept the CD among her clothes . Why? Why did not she throw it away to get "cchutkara" from her past life ?

Appropriate reaction of Hanuman should have been demanding to know from Babita why the CD is still there ?

And Yes , Mini's not taking part in the griha pravesh and Hanuman ignoring the fact shows what turn the serial will take in future.

In my eyes , Hanuman singh was more angry than hurt. I dont know why the director wanted such expressions from Annirudh !!!
