It’ll be hard to beat Deepika’s Veronica, she was amazing in it

I am going to be Sara's fan if she leaves impact like Deepika as Veronica.

The beauty with brains, Sara Ali Khan, might be just 2 films old but has already managed to win hearts and impress the audience with her clout and craft. After proving her mettle in films like Kedarnath and Simmba, she is all geared up for a plethora of releases lined up ahead of her. She will be seen alongside rumored boyfriend Kartik Aryan in Imtiaz Ali’s Aaj Kal, followed by the remake of hit 1995 Coolie No 1 co-starring Varun Dhawan. She has also been roped in for Aanand L Rai's directorial venture that also stars Dhanush.

Besides these three big films in her kitty, Sara is in talks for yet another remake, Cocktail 2, the 2012 rom-com which starred her dad Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone, and Diana Penty in lead roles. Interestingly, Sara’s upcoming film Aaj Kal is also a remake of Saif-Deepika’s Love Aaj Kal.

"Sara was almost roped in for Angrezi Medium but eventually, dates didn't work out. Dinesh Vijan really likes her screen presence and feels Sara is a brilliant performer, so he has been wanting to work with her. Now, when Maddock Films was planning to make the next instalment in the Cocktail franchise, they bounced the idea off to Sara. The actress has liked the concept of Cocktail 2 and will mostly step into Deepika Padukone's shoes for the sequel”, a source told Pinkvilla.

The source further added, “The modalities are being worked out currently. But Sara has given her go ahead. After Coolie No. 1, she will finish Aanand Rai's next so her dates will be free from April next year. Along with Cocktail 2, she's in talks for another movie that's being directed by a filmmaker who makes rather unconventional films.”

Cocktail 2 is probably going to be an entirely different story. She obviously cant play Deepikas role.

Veronica is possibly the finest female character in the recent past. No one can match up to DP's portrayal. She was stellar in it.
