Yayy! What a great brother he is indeed. I'm so mad!😵

.....Honestly I am getting your frsutration, because I am equally frustrated. This is the only quality of Abir I can't tolerate. No offence to anyone, but I think along with Meenu he is also partly responsible for all the stunts Kunal pulls. He calls him out on his behaviour for sure, but he is not successful is making Kunal realize that all his actions can have consequences, because whenever they fight, instead of making Kunal understand and respect his POV ,he pacifies him.Like really...wth????? And what exactly is he expecting from Mishti....to deal with all his brother's crap because they love each other. To be honest no love is worth your mental sanity. And coming to Mishti, the girl who had always stood up for her self respect and her identity is somewhere lost in her new found love. She is made to swallow all the junk thrown at her by everyone, in the name of fighting for her love, just because she doesn't want to cause any problems for Abir(and Kuhu also though undeserved). I mean sometimes my heart goes out to her just because of how much she is getting affected by the taunts and insults thrown at her and that too only because she dared to break the walls she had put up around her, dared to love again after being betrayed by everyone in her life. Sometimes,I think the cynical Misthi shown in the beginning of the show was better, because she had better armours in place, to defend herself from her so called loved ones. It is high time that Mishbir take a stand for themselves, stop making excuses for their siblings and call a spade a spade. "I swore never to be silent whenever and wherever human beings endure suffering and humiliation. We must always take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim - Elie Wiesel" P.S - Sorry for being negative, but had to get out my frustration with the characters somewhere.

Wow!👏

This was so well put. I have absolutely nothing to add. I agree to everything you have said in the reply.

No love is worth your self-respect. If you have to sacrifice your self-respect for a relationship, that relationship is toxic and isn't worth the effort. I wish Indian TV had the brains to understand this concept but unfortunately I don't think they will anytime soon. Mishti sacrificing her self-respect for her love's brother will be glorified as the hugest sacrifice for love. No one is going to talk about how unhealthy that is because Indian audience (TRP one) as well as the writers 'evidently' aren't as evolved.

The cynical but clearly bad-ass Mishti who used to not take crap from anyone including Abir is missed.

@bold - Lol....😆thanks .It was a result of weeks of pent up frustration on Cvs destroying my fav character Mishti. She has turned from a cynical, bad ass, bitter Mishti to one who is sweet, sacrificing, forgiving. The pre- "love " would have given it back to Kunal, but the post "love" Mishti is staying silent for the sake of Abir. And this guy is only giving her a "Sorry". @ italics- Exactly my point. ITV has to stop glorifying all the sacrifices the characters are made to do in the name of love. They have made it so that, people who stand up for themselves, prioritize themselves are potrayed as selfish, those who speak their mind as disrespectful and what else. What the makers fail to understand is that no sane human can withstand all the insults, taunts and bullying the female lead endures and still be sweet ,positive, happy and thinks about other's well being. @red - Tell me about it...🤣I have a weird attachment to the cynical Mishti, because she was more relatable and realistic.

I personally don't mind the fact that Abir is trying to make peace with Kunal and going out of the way to make him happy. Simply because thats just how Abir is. The guy has no ego and will go out of the way to make it up to those who are dear to him. And he treats Kunal like his own baby. All the flashback sequences have indicated that Abir has always babied Kunal and is almost a parent to him. He almost feels guilty about leaving home on & off while Kunal is completely left in the care of his mom and is forced to take additional responsibilities. I think we should take note of the fact that Abir does not know most of the stuff Kunal has done which we as viewers are aware of. From his perspective, Kunal is not capable of being manipulative or plotting to ruin someone. He just thinks he is an immature, egoistic brat who is being manipulated by his control freak mom. I honestly don't think we can fault him for trying to make it up to his brother. Its almost like a parent who knows his bratty child is at fault yet showers him with gifts and tries to make him happy because he knows the child is hurt and sulking. You could say this kind of pampering is wrong and it will ruin Kunal further but thats just how Abir is when it comes to Kunal. I have no doubt that he will do the same even for Mishti if they ever have a fight. Does not mean that he is justifying Kunal. He saw Kunal misbehave with Mishti and forced him to apologize. But he also saw Kunal being hurt and saying that he would die for Abir if required. So I knew Abir as the mature one who treats his younger brother like his child will go out of the way to make it up to him. Right or wrong is up for debate but my point is I understand where Abir is coming from :)
