Madz was smart. As part of the industry she denied his involvement as did everyone else but at the same time denied her affair.

They were serious about each other and were gonna get married but he was already married so he needed to sort that out that’s why they never accepted it even though everyone knew but after the blasts she just abandoned him like she had no involvement with him. Sunil Dutt was pissed off so was sanju but they did shoot for mahanta for producers sake but didn’t talk.

Sanju forgave her and that’s why she said Sanju has a heart of gold on kwk

She also had a fling with Jackie Shroff and many more but this one was serious that’s why it’s talked about. But she always portrayed herself as sati savitri 😂

Or the situation would have been more normal since the whole conflict seems to have been manufactured by scandal-hungry media (and maybe Sri's most persistent BF, a certain Boney Kapoor)? Several Bollywood people, including the likes of Anil and Jackie, loved to talk crap about Madhuri in the 90's: how she should do this or that, or how she's too old (coming from those two, this sounded particularly funny) and no longer lead material. Remember Manisha Koirala? Once she actually got to work with her in Lajja, she suddenly started being nice and appreciative.

Even in this thread people are like: OMG, I didn't know she's so down to earth. However, I don't recall any reports of Madhuri's tantrums on sets. The only crap came from rag sheets and "journalist" (only in his own mind) Subhash Jha, who still writes occasional hit pieces about her. My "favourite" one? MD is so greedy, won't start shooting before money is transferred to her bank account. I mean, a female superstar expects to be paid before shooting a film. How dare she? 🤔

Thankyou Sanya.. I learnt some words today (some that I could never grasp until today!) besides getting to know some things about Madhuri I never knew before :) I never thought she was down-to-earth..

I love how the interviewer goes about giving an introduction pre-interview, what Madhuri was doing before their tete-a-tete, and how she was in a certain mood when he first saw her 'cos of a scene she was to shoot.. giving us background of what kind of day the actor had when this interview happened, adding more to my imagination.. so wholesome :p

I really like the article, the way Madhuri answered the questions without throwing any weight around or mocking the interviewer or losing her temper over same question being asked so many times. I think Madhuri of those days was so so so much better than Madhuri of present day. She was really mature and very grounded at that time.

I have always liked the fact that she never accepted her relationship with Sanjay..sp after reading some of Sanjay’s old int.m so glad Madz got saved.Maybe there was nothing between them but if there ever was something m relieved that god saved her.

And she never portrayed herself like a sari Savitri ..it’s just that she was always polite and nice which made people like her a lot.Not talking about ur personal life doesnot make you a sati Savitri.She has every right to not talk about it if she doesnot feel like.But otherwise she had a very clean image..and by that I mean being always nice n sweet to others.

Yes everyone has the full right to protect their privacy. Her family is the base of why she is such a wonderful being. A complete package in totality.

Any sane person would look yhe orher way if they have even a shadow of doubt that their partners might be involved in terrorist activity and posseses illegal arms.. Madhuri surely made the right decision

She has a dignified way of speaking.. dignified and yet not fake..
