Gen-y actresses are weak compared to previous eras?

Is it true that this generation's actresses are weaker than previous eras? barely a couple of them can REALLY act, like Kangana, Vidya and/or Priyanka Chopra. The rest either don't have the caliber or are not effortless performers. Some of them are OTT.

As compared to the male counterparts, do you think the women in this generation are weak actresses?

Alia and Deepika are also hard-working actresses, but the rest are just pathetic like Shraddha, Katrina, and Sonam.
