Should kids work in movies or TV? - Page 2

I know that there are laws in protection of children working in entertainment industry. But is that really being followed? The people with whom these children work with are very powerful and can easily buy the law and order.

So ain't it better for kids not acting in movies, at least not until their teenage years? Yes, we can make movies without kids. It will limit the creativity of writers but movies are not above child protection.

Lol. You do know that LEGALLY child artists must have a teacher and tutors on sets to make sure they complete their school work. Also, they do NOT shoot for 8 hours a day as its against the law.

Also, read my post. I said that occasional stuff and a few movies here and there are fine. As long as they are not shooting back to back which according to labour laws is ILLEGAL. What I am against is talent hunts which don't follow a criteria.

Iss ke liye, sirf unhi bachchon ko cast karna chahiye jo film mein interest ya jo acting ko leke joshile ho. Aur unko freedom deni chahiye, bohot zyada freedom ..direction, story-telling aise hone chahiye ke un par kisi tarah ka pressure nahi pade.. aur zyaada se zyaada woh film natural aur simple hone chahiye.. Iske liye film-makers aur cast ka bohot protective aur gentle hona zaroori hai.

Kids should definitely not be in movies about sexual abuse.. I don't care how you show the message or how the shooting is done.. the Jago movie scene traumatized me for life

I don't like kids being in movies. but if the story absolutely needs a kid then environment should be completely safe with supervisors present
